How does this work? Each week I will create Prediction League threads for the weeks game(s). It's a simple concept: Each week you start with 100 points (only if a prediction is made, otherwise 0 points for the week) +25 PTs if you guess the winner -25 PTs if you pick the loser +10 PTs if guess IU score correctly +10 PTs if guess Opponent score correct -The # of points different between the actual and predicted score of IU (over/under doesn't matter) -The # of points different between the actual and predicted score of opponent (over/under doesn't matter) *** Reminder if you post a prediction and want to change it, please just POST a NEW Prediction, do not edit a prior post as I may miss those edits. I know I am going to continue to slide down the standings by continuing to predict us to win.... Ugh I hate the conundrum.

I agree but I believe D Green is one of the best defenders we have (from the little action I have seen of him) and this could be his opening to log more minutes... The changing of 1 piece in a defense can make a big difference....

He was ineligible last week (both on the road & at home) however the situation has been cleared up and he is now eligible to play again.

Imagine the JBJ critics if we experience some Deja Vu season turn around when JBJ goes out.... But realistically taking a defensive weakness off the floor, what will it do? The difference being this year there aren't nearly as many offensive weapons to make up for the loss of his Offensive prowess.

What is going on in the ACC?? GTech follows up its upset of FSU with an upset of Notre Dame FSU follows it up with another loss to Syracuse Miami is smacking UNC around right now. Lets just hope Wake Forest gets in on this action later today.

I had heard about this article but had never read it before.... It is amazing how it stands the test of time!!!!

UK fan at work today, didn't even mention the game last night.... just smiled and I already knew... I mentioned that it was a means to an end and he exclaimed joyfully that we should give him an extension and he would figure it out...

Not exactly... I think the 5 more wins are Penn State at home, Michigan a home, at Iowa (112), (Maybe) Northwestern at home, and (BIG MAYBE) at Ohio State (66), with no wins against Purdue. Then a win against a bottom team in the BIG Tourney before a loss to whoever is next. So in that scenario, only 1 more top 50 and 3 top 100 (including 1 on the road)... So that in your opinion would get us in?

I think we finish out the regular season 19-12. Depending on how the rest of the conference does that could put us as a 7 seed in the BIG tourney (maybe even a 6 but I doubt it) and in that case I see us win 1 lose 1... making our record 20-13 heading into the NIT. If we end up being seeded lower than 7th in the BIG tourney then we lose the first game we play and are 19-13.

I figure IU loses this game by about 7.... But I just can't do it.... IU - 77 Northwestern - 76

A lot of AD speak if you ask me... He is a fan, he wants to be elite, wants national championships and so does Tom... Well of course who doesn't? But what are you doing to get us there? The fact that the coaches create the schedules is a bit troubling to me too... I mean maybe this is the norm but it seems like it sure gives the coach a good way to pad his win total (in any of the sports) and not necessarily look at whats best for the program.

Yea without Coach K Duke has really been tripped up. It has been a fall from Grace on Allen.

Michigan is almost as good as us on Offense and even worse than us on Defense... That should mean a high scoring affair...Factor in their home crowd and this one should be very close.... IU 89 Michigan 86
