XJ has to find a way to stay on the floor.... completely different team when he is in Foul Trouble... I love the tenacious D, but if it gets him in foul trouble that kills us.... but more it is the ticky tack fouls that he picks up that he needs to clean up....

The DISRESPECT.... I mean we are 6-0 and I get it that we haven't played top teams, we didn't win some early season tourney etc.... but a team beats somebody they leapfrog us... they lose afterwards and stay ahead of us.... 2 more wins and stay in the exact same spot (#30)… while getting leapfrogged by Iowa State, Michigan State, Wisconsin.... And the teams that did jump us before but now lost like Seton Hall stay ahead... at least we overtook the mighty Xavier!!!

When a 0 gets a lower score dropped that is something to behold!

Doomsday for me is Gonzaga (or a similar team) going undefeated.... It would suck if it was Purdue or especially UK.... but at least I would feel like they earned it (especially Purdue even with a down year in the BIG). At least they play tough competition all year. I know Gonzaga has a HARD non-conference schedule... but at some point playing teams that see you every year, on their home court, with their fans hating you is a thing... and for Gonzaga and that conference those games are still easy... Gonzaga is good... really good... but for me them going undefeated in that type of conference is Doomsday.

I still think most are undervaluing our Defense so far... but Marshall is much better than Jackson State.... so I will stay in line with you all LOL IU 70 Marshall 58

WOW.... this is the LOWEST set of scores I have ever seen where everybody correctly predicted the winner of the game... Which is why I wanted it this week.... in recent years we have been good enough to get votes, get close, and then lose a game and drop back down... I am definitely an AP Poll guy... it would give us clout... especially with little brother receiving #1 vote(s) currently... I get all your reasoning... and I guess it makes sense but our win over St Johns should have made some impression... St Johns was previously getting votes, it wasn't just 2 cupcakes we beat this week. I am not so sure... this week is 2 cupcakes, 6-0 is not going to be abnormal for any team ranked ahead of us currently, and not likely many of them lose as they are most likely playing some cupcakes too.... And then like I said above comes Syracuse, who we should dismantle... but if we don't we are falling right back down the respect ladder.

We should be Ranked... but I won't hold my breath..... we were 27 got 2 wins and got leapfrogged.... stayed at 27 Now another week of being 27th with 2 more wins (1 against 41st … not great but they had votes at least)... Who is going to leap us this week (BYU maybe...) IU has no respect and I for 1 believe it is important to earn that on the court and then get our due in the media/rankings.... people look at it, people see it scroll the bottom of the tv, recruits, media, hype, it all matters.

How this works!!! Each week I will create Prediction League threads for the weeks game(s). Saw it in some other threads.... but... Galloway with a Broken wrist/hand... likely out a couple months... That is bad news, he was getting more playing time than many expected... He is the all purpose, Junk yard Dawg guy that many are all about.... High BBall IQ.... and with a serviceable shot could be a big help. Hope he heals up quick!
