Nothing says you had a great official visit like retweeting stuff about another school. Robinson just seems to favor Indiana.

Vic was a low ranked recruit, so no one expected anything from him to begin with. Poor example. Everyone I've talked to, including those who have seen the 2012 and 2013 IU recruiting classes play leading up to college, say the 2013 class is much better than the 2012 class. Some have said they're a little surprised at how underrated the class is. Also, Williams and Robinson definitely would have been ranked higher had they been in the 2012 class. A friend of mine has seen the freshmen play together and said they "looked natural together, had great chemistry, and stood out from everyone else." I'll take this class over the 2012 class every day, and my expectations for them are much higher than last year's freshmen.

Robinson should announce soon.

I'm gonna agree with this. I don't want to overanalyze or anything, but Robinson tweeted about Hoosier Hysteria and retweeted IU tweets that entire weekend. I haven't seen nearly as much activity from him on his Florida visit. I think he'll go to IU. I really want the guy.

These freshmen are good. They'll surprise people this year, as will the rest of the team.

That Carlos Beltran guy is pretty good. Always great to start off with a 1-0 series lead. Glad to pull out the tough win.

Awful news about Adrian Peterson's son. Sickening that a man could beat a two year-old to death.

Justin Albers tweeted that "according to Inside The Hall" Kansas and Florida have called also. Hoetzel may be a back-up plan if Devin Robinson goes elsewhere. Interesting that the two perceived favorites for Robinson both called the kid. He's ranked three stars by ESPN and a buddy of mine says Hoetzel's play in the Northeast Prep circuit will determine if big schools continue to call. Funny that he goes to school with Goodluck Okonoboh.

I think most would prefer a national championship appearance, but I'd hate being runner-up. To get so close and come up short would suck in my opinion. That said, runner-up over B1G regular season title any day of the week.

New guys have been great. Loving all the action on the forums. I visit this site so much more now.

I'm certainly not going to count out Florida. They aren't as crowded at the 3, which worries me.

I don't think we were heavy favorites to land GO. Yes, we were presumed favorites, but I always saw people say we were slight favorites. When the news broke about us recruiting that one guy, many thought something went wrong with GO and questioned how much of a favorite we were, or even if we were the favorite. Something weird happened with Okonoboh. I do think people are more confident in Robinson to IU than they were with Okonoboh to IU.

I've seen that UCONN scaled back, even stopped, their recruitment of Devin Robinson about a month ago. That's likely one of the reasons Indiana has gained so much momentum recently. There are some that aren't surprised by the cancellation.

UCONN was thought to be the other favorite, so this is huge for Indiana. Don't count out Florida yet, but expect Robinson to be a Hoosier.

Vic had 10 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals in his preseason debut.

Indiana stopped by at one of Onuaku's games this summer, and that was last time I ever saw the Hoosiers in the same sentence as him until the news broke that he would take a visit. Found it very odd that the visit was suddenly cancelled hours later and IU was no longer recruiting him, even though they barely recruited him to start.

Justin Albers of AllHoosiers.com just tweeted that Indiana won't recruit Trevon Bluiett. Not surprising.

I'd be shocked if Bluiett ever comes close to Indiana. He has to know he'd be a back-up plan if Devin Robinson doesn't work out.

It's Appalachain State. This kid will get so much more opportunities elsewhere. The coach would be gone in an instant if bigger names were interested in him. I don't care if Graham goes to IU, but I hope he gets the release.

For his third stop on his "Preseason Practice Tour," ESPN's Jeff Goodman took a visit to Bloomington. Later that night, he tweeted his thoughts on the young Hoosier squad, beginning with injuries. As we all know, the freshmen class has suffered from injuries recently. Troy Williams injured his shooting hand, Luke Fischer sprained his shoulder in practice shortly thereafter, Noah Vonleh suffered a minor ankle injury, and Stanford Robinson went down with a knee injury during Hoosier Hysteria. Goodman tweeted that Crean told him hat Vonleh should be a "full-go" next practice and that Williams would return "in a few days." Crean also told Goodman that Fischer is "a couple weeks away," while Robinson should be back in "7-10 days." All fell in line to what Crean tweeted this morning. Goodman went on to describe a concern many in Hoosier Nation share: inside scoring. He tweeted that Hanner Perea "has made improvement," but is "still raw" on the offensive end. Later, Goodman tweeted about another concern: guard depth, specifically point guard depth. "Yogi Ferrell will have a ton on his plate," Goodman tweeted. "He'll have to become team's go-to scorer, also distribute -- as well as also try to be a leader." He went on to point out that Stan Robinson and senior transfer Evan Gordon may be back-up options, but said neither are "ideal." He also said sophomore Jeremy Hollowell "got a look" at point guard and made quality decisions. Goodman thinks Gordon may start at the two because of his experience, but doesn't like a Yogi/Gordon back court combo because of the lack of height. Goodman says to "pencil in" Yogi, Sheehey, and Vonleh for the starting line-up, leaving the other two spots "up in the air." He also indicated that Vonleh may see time at the five spot this year. As stated earlier, Goodman is not a fan of the "small, small guards" combo of Yogi and Gordon. He thinks Gordon should come off the bench for scoring, giving the Hoosiers a bigger starting five. His thoughts on the line-up: "Yogi, Sheehey, Vonleh, Williams/Hollowell and Perea/Fischer." Goodman mentioned that an NBA scout at practice was "blown away" by freshmen Noah Vonleh's "NBA-ready body," a big plus for the Hoosiers' season outlook. Goodman later responded to two big questions during his Indiana tweets. One asked if Goodman thought Sheehey would be the go-to guy. Goodman replied, "Nope. Can't create the same way Yogi is able able to." The other question asked if Goodman thinks the Hoosiers will make the NCAA Tournament. He responded, "I think so, but probably should not be ranked to start the season." There's a lot of positives, and some concerns for Indiana basketball this year, but it's shaping up to be a good year. These freshmen need to heal up. I was never worried about Vonleh, and hopefully no one was. It was made clear that it wasn't anything serious. I'm glad Stan's doesn't appear too serious. He'll provide key guard depth this year.
