(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon

I honestly think JaQuan would be fine here. I doubt Crean would continue to recruit him if was very worried about that. Lyle is a tremendous talent, and I'd love to have him. He could also teach Rob Johnson some things, as Johnson transitions and learns point guard. I'm assuming Lyle will commit in the spring, unlike many other IU targets.

(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon

N.D. Kendrick tweet from about 9:40 ET: "Will be interesting to track the JaQuan Lyle/Indiana relationship over the next few months. A visit will happen in-season. He likes B-Town!" Thoughts?

    Non-Conference Schedule

Beat the snot out of the cupcakes and give these boys some confidence going into conference play. I have no problem with the non-conference schedule.
  4. Glockner put Indiana at 16 in his preseason top 25, and new IndyStar IUBB insider asked him why. Some interesting questions and answers. I have to agree with the comments I changed to red. No question last year's team was overrated, while this year's may be a bit underrated. I think we're a bit weary of freshmen this year because of how awful 3/4 of the freshmen were last year. Osterman asked about his impressions of Sheehey and Yogi at the World University Games, and had this to say about Sheehey, "I think Sheehey will take a big step forward. He's the type of guy that looks like he'll translate from being a complementary player to being a leading guy." He mentioned that Yogi's "obviously, going to have to play better, more consistent...as a sophomore, you expect him to take that leap." 5. Found two sentences interesting in this article. 1) Crean called Troy Williams "the best athlete he's ever coached." He mentioned that Williams' vertical is 41 inches, highest on the team. 2) This one is my favorite: He said Vonleh has grown four inches and gained about 40 pounds in the last year. Man, that's scary. Link: http://m.courierpress.com/news/2013/oct/16/ius-crean-lauds-local-support/
  6. Chane went to my high school, so that was huge news today. Heard rumors about drugs and messing with the local high school girls. No one is shocked, but what a wasted talent.

USA Today Preseason Poll - IU #24

24 is a very fair ranking. Loads of potential, but real uncertainty.

    Tom Crean speaking in Evansville

Vonleh is a monster. He definitely looks taller than Fischer in that picture.

    #IUBB Expectations

Extremely young team, but easily the most talent Tom Crean has had at Indiana. I'm really high on the potential for this team. Regular season may be up and down, but watch out come tournament time. We'll be a very hard out.

Will IU Have More Than One Player On......

Vonleh. I'm expecting him on either one. Yogi. Definitely has the talent and potential. Maybe Sheehey, but I don't know if he can make those lists. Other than those three, I don't think there's one who would realistically make either one.
  11. Tremendous work, my friend. Tremendous work.

(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon

I'm a little surprised Crean is still going after this guy. Incredible talent.
  13. Pure speculation here, but could Robinson be meeting with these teams to inform them he won't be attending their school? Obviously might not be true, but who knows. Recruitment is so tight-lipped.

Prediction League Game 7...IU vs Michigan 10/19

Our best defense will be the Michigan quarterback. I'll call the upset because why not. IU-34 UM-30

(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon

Maybe we aren't too involved. Kendrick has him going to Uconn. This class is weird. I just want it to be over.
  16. Jeff Borzello just tweeted that "Oklahoma St. is visiting with Robinson at his high school tonight."

    Vote for Victor Oladipo!

I watched Courtney for four years at WKU. One of my favorites, but I'm still voting for Dipo.
  18. Like Rob Johnson, Robinson is so tight-lipped about his recruitment. Johnson was so quiet that a lot thought he'd go to UNC. Few though we'd even beat out Virginia. I don't think anyone truly knows how close the competition is, but when Rob Johnson's dad is saying he's be "shocked" if Robinson didn't choose IU, I find it hard to believe UF is that close.
  19. Any competition is closer than we'd like. I don't think it's really that close.

(2014) PG Dante Exum to NBA

Exum has stated he wont enroll anywhere this winter. If he goes to college, it'd be next year. I would be thrilled to have this guy on Indiana, especially next year, but I think he goes NBA.

    Victor Oladipo - Memphis Grizzlies

Alex Kennedy tweeted this tonight. "Kyrie Irving on Victor Oladipo: "He is going to be great. He is going to be great in this league. ... His potential is out the roof.""
  22. Ron Johnson Sr. said he'll be shocked if Robinson doesn't choose Indiana. Tweeted by Justin Albers this afternoon.
  23. Very happy for Peter. He'll have a great support system when he gets back. Prayers for him and his family.

    Vote for Victor Oladipo!

This seems so wrong, but I love it. Hoosier Nation obviously > Magic Fans

    NFL Week 6

Week 6 sucks. Terrible for my fantasy team.
