Don't be surprised by anything.

It's big seeing these bigger names switch to Indiana. This is crazy. I wouldn't be surprised with anything. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Can I count as the first Blackmon to Indiana pick? Kidding of course, but I really hope JB does commit to IU tonight. Booker will play the two at UK, and Cal has already told JB he would split time with Tyler Ulis. It all points to Indiana as the better destination. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Devin Robinson 2014 F Devin Robinson will announce his college decision this Wednesday. He's considering Oklahoma State, Indiana, Notre Dame, and Florida. He's taken officials to each school. The late-bloomer burst onto the scene this past year, and Indiana ramped up their recruitment this summer. Eric Bossi calls him "a big wing with loads of offensive ability." He also adds that Robinson needs strength and aggressiveness. Ranger's Prediction At one point, Indiana was the heavy favorite to land Robinson. Recently, rumors have swirled that he will be heading to Florida. The last ten picks on 247Sports' Crystal Ball are Florida, and the Gators hold 55% of the predictions. Indiana has a lot of forwards, some arguably better than Robinson, and the Hoosiers just added F Max Hoetzel. Florida has more room for Robinson, and therefore present a better opportunity for immediate playing time. Couple that with the recent rumors and I predict Devin Robinson will be a Gator and choose Florida. James Blackmon Former Indiana commit James Blackmon will announce his decision on ESPNU Thursday. He will choose between Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. After Blackmon de-committed, he said Indiana still had a shot to land him. Although UK and UM are presumed favorites, Indiana does seem to still have a shot. Blackmon is considered the best shooter in the 2014 class, and should be an elite scorer in college. Ranger's Prediction Ever since Blackmon de-committed, UK has been the heavy favorite to land him. 247Sports Crystal Ball is 98% Kentucky. Recently, rumors have been brought up alluding that Blackmon may be souring on the Wildcats, while his Indiana visit went very well. I said Blackmon would wind back up at IU this summer. Even though everything seems to point to Blackmon attending UK, I'm very stubborn. Purely a gut call: I predict James Blackmon will be a Hoosier.

Indiana's Recruiting "Issues"
All_Hoosiers replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
The 2013 class is far and away better than "The Movement" and you can say it's the most talented class Crean has brought to Indiana. There really is no reason to freak out about the 2014 class. Rob Johnson is one of the fastest rising players, and Max Hoetzel is set to rise the rankings too. It's not like Crean went after crap players. The team has a very bright future, with or without 2014 5-stars. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
POLL: James Blackmon Jr.'s College will be...
All_Hoosiers replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I have absolutely no reason to believe Blackmon will go anywhere but UK, but I can't go away from my Indiana pick. I don't know why I have this gut feeling, but I do. It's more than likely JB will end up at UK. If it's true that JaQuan Lyle will commit to Indiana if Blackmon doesn't, then I actually kinda hope JB goes to UK. Anything but Michigan. A complete and utter joke. I don't normally call for people's jobs, but he has to go.

OT: Kentucky's Hardest Opponent is... Kentucky???

Because Michigan State, Robert Morris, UNC, Louisville, Tennessee, and Florida clearly aren't as talented. -
Devin Robinson and James Blackmon Set to Announce
All_Hoosiers replied to All_Hoosiers's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I would hope Robinson wasn't scared away by Hoetzel. That would show me he doesn't like competition. Anyway, I'll gladly take our options at the three and four spot next year over Devin Robinson. He was the one I wanted least, and I'm not shook up over his decision. -
(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon

Definitely Lyle. If Yogi stays though, imagine a possible back court of Yogi and Lyle coupled with backcourt depth of Johnson and Robinson. -
(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon

I would be elated if JaQuan committed soon, but I believe he wants to wait till spring. He's the one I want most out of the remaining 2014 recruits. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

(2014) SF Devin Robinson to Florida
All_Hoosiers replied to Hwy 1's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Blackmon and Lyle are better than Robinson, and we already have a ton of forwards. I'm not too shook up, because I think we land Blackmon and/or Lyle. Florida provides the easiest path for playing time and I'm fine with Drob wanting to go to the better situation for him. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Prediction League Game 8...IU vs Minny (11/2)
All_Hoosiers replied to Naturalhoosier's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Defense in a joke. Minnesota-48 Indiana-34 -
Noah and Troy will definitely be in the league some day. Devin Davis might end up there too. Should be space on a roster for an elite rebounder and defender. He'll never be asked to score much. I can't wait to see what this freshmen class does at IU and beyond.

Indiana’s 2014 recruiting class just got a lot more interesting and confusing (if that’s even possible) tonight, as 2014 F Max Hoetzel committed to the Hoosiers. He joins G Robert Johnson as the second commit in the 2014 class. Hoetzel, a California native, had offers from Cal Poly, Loyola Marymount, Pacific, San Diego, Utah, and St. John’s. He recently transferred to Wilbraham & Monson Academy to gain more exposure on the national level. Things heated up rapidly between IU and Hoetzel, as he was offered earlier this week before taking an official visit this weekend. Indiana made first contact just weeks ago. Hoetzel is not the most highly touted player by any means, ranked only by ESPN and 247Sports. The three-star prospect is on the rise, however, recently grabbing attention from Florida, Kansas, and other top programs. One thing is clear: The kid can shoot. ESPN's scouting report says he's "...one of the top shooters for his size. The hybrid 4-man has a nice frame with ideal length, solid springs, and a feathery stroke that extends out to the stripe." It also says he moves well away from the ball. The Indiana coaching staff reportedly explained the situation to 2014 F Devin Robinson, who will announce Oct. 30. Hoetzel is not believed to be a back-up plan, and Indiana reportedly wants to land both him and Robinson, per Eric Bossi. Note: Indiana currently has no available scholarships, but one or two will likely open up after the season. Top target Devin Robinson will announce Oct. 30, and James Blackmon hopes to announce that week as well.

I could see Vonleh or Yogi possibly leaving for the NBA. I can also see a transfer happening. Stuff happens. Crean will figure it out. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Can't say I'm thrilled, but we'll see. With maybe only one more scholarship coming available, I want Crean to invest in JaQuan Lyle even more.

Alrighty then. First major offer and the kid jumped. Good size, great shooter.
