I believe he's one of Curt Miller's biggest supporters, so a little odd.

    Prediction League Game 11...IU vs O$U (11/23)

Been predicting an IU win for years now. I'll be right one of these days (maybe). Indiana-45 Ohio State-38

    OT: MSU vs Portland

Maybe they're a tad overrated. Don't want to overreact, but they haven't looked impressive since the first half against Kentucky. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. If UC-Irvine can blow'em out, I hope we can at least win.   Indiana-87 Washington-76

(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon

I do think JaQuan goes to Kansas if he's offered immediate playing time. He can't get that at IU. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

    Collin Hartman

I was very high on Collin coming into the year. I'd seen nothing but good things said about him, most saying he was underrated. He can play. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Indiana vs Stony Brook Post-Game thread

I couldn't watch, but when I see we beat a good Stony Brook squad by 16 just days after only beating LIU-Brooklyn by one, I'm pleased.

Michigan and UNC both drop games

Their coaches must suck.    On a serious note, both Iowa St and Belmont are good programs. Nice wins for each team.

OT: Robert Morris @ UK 7:00EST

    Mo Creek

Let's not act like the A-10 is the Sun Belt or something. There's some legit squads in that league. I don't think there's a huge drop-off (if any) between the top A-10 teams and the bottom B1G teams.

Dude's killing it this year. 57% from three and putting up freshmen Mo numbers. Wish he was still here. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

    OT: Auburn vs Georgia

Insane would be putting that play lightly. What a whirlwind last two minutes of that game.

    Espn RN Hot Board

Augustin was still a lottery pick. I'm not projecting Yogi's career, but a possible draft position. With such a deep draft, I don't expect Yogi to leave anyway. He'd have to have a monster, monster year.

IU vs Wiscy POST game thread

We've got all the weapons on offense, but we're held back by a joke of a defense and a streaky offense. There's no consistency with this team.

IU vs Wiscy POST game thread

Can we even say Indiana football has improved since last year? This team has been such a disappointment. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

  20. Evan Daniels ‏@EvanDanielsFOX 3m Quentin Snider signs with Louisville ...      Anyone else seeing this crazy Quentin Snider news? May remember he was once an IU target, but Crean never offered. The guy decommitted from Louisville and ultimately committed to Illinois. Many expected him to sign with the Illini yesterday, but now he might flip and re-commit to Louisville. Recruiting is weird. If Yogi has a monster year, I could see him leaving, opening up immediate starting time for JaQuan. I really want Lyle, but, at this moment, I don't think he comes to IU.

Hoosier Nation Breathes a Sigh of Relief

Tom Crean has had a stressful time recruiting the 2014 class. Trey Lyles de-committed, as did fellow "mamba" James Blackmon about a year later. He lost out on Theo Pinson, JaQuan Lyle, Isaiah Whitehead, and more, leaving him with no one in the class. With zero commits for the 2014 class, Hoosier Nation was naturally becoming nervous about the future. 2014 G Robert Johnson could change all that with an announcement. For months, North Carolina and Indiana were considered the favorites to land Johnson. There was some Virginia chatter leading up the announcement, however. The 247Sports Crystal Ball closed at 77% UNC and 12% IU and UVA. His recruitment was closely guarded, and no one had a real grasp on his upcoming decision. Today, at 3:30 EST, Robert Johnson committed to Indiana University, easing the nerves of much of Hoosier Nation. The consensus is that this is a huge get for Indiana and Tom Crean, and for good reason. Johnson, the No. 42 ranked recruit in the country according to Rivals, represents the "first" commitment for the 2014 class, a sharp-shooting guard who burst onto the scene this summer. He's a tremendous shooter, who is working to build his point guard skills. Not only can the guy play, Rob Johnson might just get the ball rolling for IU's 2014 class. He's close friends with Hoosier target Devin Robinson, and told AllHoosiers.com's Justin Albers he plans to recruit the skilled forward. "Devin Robinson, No. 1. I'm going after him first" (https://twitter.com/Justin_Albers/status/381169162090860544). Goodluck Okonoboh, arguably Indiana's top target, and Robinson are also reportedly interested in playing together. Whether Johnson brings Robinson and/or Okonoboh to Bloomington, his mission is clear: He wants to win championships and hang banners. "I want to have a chance to put up banners in Assembly Hall," Johnson told Jeff Rabjohns of Peegs.com (https://twitter.com/JeffRabjohns/status/381165698967273472). Robert Johnson should thrive playing in Crean's up-tempo offense, which will give him open shots, and developing his point guard game. Like many are saying, this commitment is huge.
