That sad moment when Indiana not making the tournament wouldn't feel weird. The struggles of a 17-year old Hoosier fan.   On a serious note, I do believe not making the tournament would be a disappointment. 

If Indiana beats Michigan State January 4, everyone will love Tom Crean again.   This isn't last year's team, or the year before. I think we lack leadership, but this team still has a chance to be good.   These freshmen aren't one-and-done super freshmen. We can't expect them to stroll in and knock off every good team, especially away from home.    Big Ten play will be interesting.

Will Sheehey seems to be acting more as an assistant coach than player right now. If he can turn back into player first mode come conference play, then he'll be fine and we'll all love Will again. I'm not one of Sheehey's biggest fans, and I never have been. He's doing a good job, however, teaching this team and that may be more valuable right now than a good game against the likes of Oakland. Being 17, I have no deep attachment to Bob Knight. I understand the history and the great things he did. He's a great coach and I admire him and his accomplishments. Still, my only memory of him coaching is at Texas Tech. I, like everyone else, hope he comes back, but at the end of the day, it's his decision and I'm not too worried about it. I love what Wilson has done with the offense, and I'm one his supporters. That said, there is absolutely no reason why Indiana football should not have been a bowl team this year, especially with eight (!!) home games. But, because Doug Mallory was the defensive coordinator, I'll give CKW another year. If the Hoosiers aren't bowling next year, though, then I'll be ready to part ways with Wilson.   You're right. I wouldn't have said that, but I'm not sitting Sheehey for poor play. He displayed very poor leadership against Cuse and I think he should sit. I'll place him right back into the starting line-up after this game.

Oregon lost twice, but I do think it's interesting that Oklahoma State, a one loss team, is not even mentioned with Mizzou or Auburn.
