(2014) PF Matt Cimino to GW
I want four year players! It's a college basketball team. I want kids that are here to stay and get a college degree. It would be even better if those same kids are fantastic basketball players.
I want them too, but I don't want another situation like this year where we have to rebuild with a ton of freshmen again. I personally hope we get one of these kids, because I think both may be an upgrade over what we have now behind Vonleh. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Another last ditch effort to get a big man next year. I like both him and Gustys. Don't know if I want more four-year players though. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

To me, it sounds like he's the opposite of Hanner Perea. Agree we do not need another four year player though. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

    (2014) C Rokas Gustys

From last year: 6’8 2014 Rokas Gustys: Gustys is a tough and physical player from Lithuania. He is a physically strong PF and is a two handed rebounder. While Gustys is not the most athletic player, he is fundamentally sound and possesses a high basketball IQ. He has nifty feet in the low post area and has extremely soft hands. While Gustys scored the majority of his points on the interior, he has the ability to step out and consistently knock down the perimeter jumper. Gustys is averaging 7.0 PPG going 57-108 from the floor for 53%. Although he has a nice touch, he has struggled at the FT line going 19-39 for only 45%. He averaged 5.7 RPG and look for Gustys to be a major target for his position in the 2014 class.

    Indiana's Remaining Schedule
What had happened to Devin Davis have I missed something? I know about the rumors but he has barely played as well. Indiana's Remaining Schedule

Indiana needs him to come back and emerge as a consistent scorer. It also needs his size, defense, and rebounding. I'm excited to see what he does if he returns.

    Indiana's Remaining Schedule

Doing absolutely nothing in non-conference play is killing Indiana. Beating Wisconsin upgrades the Hoosiers' resumé to weak, and now that's ruined. In my opinion, the only way Indiana gets in is if it beats Michigan State, Iowa, Ohio State, and Michigan while avoiding losses to everyone else. If the Hoosiers don't do that, they have to to win the conference tournament. They have A LOT of work to do, and no room for error. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I know. I just went ahead and referred to him as a junior though.

    IU vs Northwestern Post-Game Thread

Sure, Indiana isn't a bad team, but it's made up of five freshmen, most of whom aren't good enough to play Big Ten basketball this their first year, a very disappointing sophomore class, a junior (redshirt sophomore) who may not exactly be a Big Ten caliber player, a senior transfer, and a senior that was a sixth man the last two seasons for for a reason. Simply put, the team is not very good, and the make up of the squad obviously falls on the coach. He's a good recruiter, nothing more. His coaching in general has been questionable at times, and next year will be the year we need really judge and examine him, as his team should be much, much better next season (provided Noah Vonleh stays.)       Yikes, didn't realize Crean is basically the worst coach ever.

    IU vs Northwestern Post-Game Thread

Refuse to look at the box score. This loss is on the leaders. There no reason why Yogi, Sheehey, or anyone should've allowed Indiana to lose to freaking Northwestern at home. No reason. Crippling loss. Need to win the conference tournament to make NCAA, in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Official IU vs Northwestern Game Thread

Northwestern is really bad, and Indiana should beat them by about 20 or more. That said, I'm expecting a letdown from this young team, but ultimately a win. Must win game. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

    Jeremy Hollowell.....
It can't just b poor play period! I can't see crean starting him almost every game to not even a second in 2 in a row. I also can't see comparing troy to jh common troy is agravating because he is trying to hard and not dribbling before he takes off or throwing the ball away. I think he busts his butt in other words to me easier to deal with compared to jh lethargic hanging his head can't jump a inch off the floor jh Sent from my SCH-I535 using BtownBanners mobile app
Troy is more athletic; therefore, he gives a greater effort. Got it. Let's just admit that both aren't very good right now and need to play sparingly. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

    Best PG in the conference?

Keith Appling is the only B1G PG I'd take over Yogi because he's a senior and all his numbers are up. I'd say Appling is the best, with Yogi second. I'm one of the few that is just not a fan of Aaron Craft. He's a good defender, good leader but doesn't give a lot on the offensive end. The only thing stopping Craft's team is lack of offense and he's part of the problem. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

    Jeremy Hollowell.....
Williams actually had a higher turnover rate than Jeremy, albeit slightly. He really has no business being in the starting lineup right now.
Exactly. Williams really provides nothing except an occasional cool dunk. I think Troy will be a really good player, but he doesn't need to get big minutes as a freshmen. Hollowell gives Indiana more, but that's just my opinion. Jeremy Hollowell.....

Troy Williams provides less than Hollowell IMO. People just don't expect anything from Troy. To me, Williams being limited to eight minutes was a bigger reason IU beat Wisconsin than Hollowell not playing. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

    IU vs. Wisky Post-Game Thread!

Storming the court has been glorified in the last decade. Kids were having fun, and pedigree of program doesn't stop them. My only problem with the storm was how slowly it developed. HUGE win for Indiana. Going to watch a replay, but it sounds like Crean outcoached Bo Ryan and the players stepped up in the second half. This win puts Indiana right back in the tournament talk. Love Stan Robinson. Been high on him forever, and I'm really glad to see him contributing in Indiana wins. Fantastic young player. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
