Jeff Howard played nearly twice as many minutes (14) than Jeremy Hollowell, Hanner Mosquera- Perea, and Devin Davis COMBINED (8). I think Hollowell should play more, but I'm perfectly fine with Howard getting more minutes than Perea and Davis, as neither of three being anything offensively and Howard doesn't mess up as much. It's fair to criticize him, but it would be silly and misguided for anyone to suggest he be fired now. It's not like a significant upgrade is just up for grabs anyway. Crean a good - not great - recruiter. He's not an amazing coach but he's not terrible one either. Good motivator, good energy, and builds a nice culture. Next year's team is shaping up to be pretty good, so if he faces another season like this then we can begin discussing his future. For now, just support him. I feel like this guy and the other guy we're supposedly recruiting are upgrades over Hanner - which isn't saying much - so that's why I kind of want one of them.
