  1. I love the accountability of those fans that said this season is going to be a roller coaster ride and we are going to sit back enjoy the growth and development of our players & that they remain supportive of the players and coaching staff even when the ball drops down our rim 1 or 2 times less than what it would take to gain the "W".   I love the high bar of character Yogi displayed during the post game interview last night.  In the face of huge frustration, you could see the determination & belief this lad has.  I really felt he was nothing short of  a class act during the interview & it made me very proud to be a Hoosier fan.  He certainly absorbed the responsibility for  what transpired last night & you can see he is ready to move forward with a very positive expectation.   I have thoroughly enjoyed the development of our players this year.  I believe these guys have made great strides in the physical & mental areas of their games.  They just need to get an absolute belief and vision of what their standard level of play is and be able to play with that through the emotional roller coaster ride (great plays & turnovers) of each game --- possession  --  pass -- etc.   It is awesome to see a coaching staff remain accountable to the principle of getting better each and every day. CTC talks about not accepting after a win what you would not during a loss.  During the highlights of our Wisky win you may or may not have noticed the way in which we crashed the boards during the shots.  Some of our players were all over this concept at this stage of the season.  A couple were not as much.  I didn't see anything in the media or IU forums regarding this issue, but our coaches were on it and players made significant strides by the time we beat Michigan at home.  I'm going to mention Troy W & Austin E only to highlight what I feel is a small example of what the coaching staff is in the process of doing here. I'm certainly not calling them out in a negative way here & I apologize if on an offensive board AE was told to hang back for the sake of getting back on defense during the Wisky game.  Anyway I hope you enjoy watching the differences in these two highlights and I appreciate what the staff is doing for these athletes.      vs Wisky:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwPJgltgPVo vs Michigan:  Austin: 1:36, 1:41, 1:46, 1:52, 2:29 Troy: :05, 1:55,  2:05  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXjgKYmxnQw   Here's to continuous confidence building through out the Big Ten Tournament! 5. Very nice read here including little snippets of info on CTC, Vic and Cody.  Toward the end they mention the loss at Illinois and then the huge win at Ohio State when things didn't look so bright.  Will our guys retain what worked with Penn ST & Wisky to provide a similar scenario with MSU?   http://assemblycall.com/2014/interview-student-manager-tyler-devitte/?utm_content=bufferfb42d&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
  6. Here is a video not found on 247.  I believe he is playing against a little better competition here.  He must be an athletic stud.  In the three highlight videos I watched it seems he is only using 70 -75 % of his energy.  Love to see what he looks like "all out".   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWaBae-bm5E
  7. During the Michigan St loss there were tough stretches on both sides of the floor that were difficult to go back and watch.  On the other hand if you go back and mentally splice out some of the negative segments, you'll see there were some very positive aspects as well.  Dakich commented last night during the Wisky game that Stan picked it up during the Mich. State game and Will followed suit.   He also mentioned that it should have been the other way around in that Will should have been the one to get things rolling.  I must say that having watched the Mich. State game a second time, I disagree with Dakich's statement quite a bit.  Sheehey in his career has not had to create and he has always been rewarded very well for his efforts of slashing to the bucket without the ball.  Until the Mich. State game where Stan has continued to improve on his penetration of the lane and found individual scoring success, Will did not consistently have that quality feed from a player like he received from Stan on that day.    Stan and Will are both awesome players in their own right.  I just felt that the combination of those two working together brought Will's confidence and flow of the game up during the MS game and has carried over into the last two games.  I'm looking forward to see the difference Stan makes in both our post and perimeter players in games to come as he continues to make huge strides on this team.   Props to the coaching staff as well as they continue to bring out the best in this team and find productive combinations of players.  I believe there are great things to come as this team solidifies the defense.  I also believe we are about to see a significant increase in our game 3pt shooting.  I like seeing Troy taking a confident looking three point shot during the game.  Even though he is short of having consistent success, I know that he is lighting it up in practice.  If he wasn't, it's doubtful that CTC would allow him to pull the trigger during the game.   Heres to solid preparation for Northwestern.

^^ Thanks for sharing the videos CCG.  Those are both awesome.  Here's to Mo knocking them down for the rest of the season:)
  12. I agree with you here.  There were several times the footwork  didn't show an overwhelming amount of confidence in the second half.  They will be fine.  Much like your finish in baseball. Congrats.
  13. Yogi Jeremy Troy Devin Noah   Jeremy made two very nice drives in the second half not long after he made a turnover driving left side.  My point is he went right back to driving which is what this team needs to continue doing despite the occasional blocks made by the second line of defense.  Love his length & I believe he will be stroking that three come tournament time.  Coach mentioned recently that Vic was only shooting about 30% this time last year and in turn finished very strong.  I have hopeful anticipation that Jeremy will do the same.   This is an awesome group to watch develop.    Natural's squad can have mop up minutes in the B1G tournament.  Until then, we have some serious development to do so Jaybob should not get too excited about any possibility of playing point. :rtfm:

  15. Not bad timing on Coach's part considering ESPN2 put on one awesome "Cream and Crimson" recruiting seminar for us last night. .  If I were a Washington fan I would have had to mute that broadcast at about 6 minutes into the game and prayed I was located where I could pick up a Washington Huskies radio broadcast.  Got to love the way the went on about Noah, Troy and the Freshman Class!

  21. Speaking of behind-the-back passes, last night Yogi got his left handed behind the back bounce pass off to Stan. In watching the highlight youtube it looks as if D Davis is considering a behind the back flip on the play where he had a chance for a "& one". Anyway from the NBA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaK0D-KVtR8
