As much as I Hate Cronin part of my reasoning why he wasnt the guy is Dolson wasn't paying 16-10mil to hire him. Same logic goes for Brownell. I can't fathom paying anything just to hire him, he's not that guy.

Please lord let it be Will Wade with all the McCollum and Brownhole talk. That to me would be a great hire beyond the Stevens/whoeverelseisntcoming list. Beard and Wade were the best realistic coaches we could get IMO.

I think in this day to be successful you still have to look at fit and character. Essentially normal basketball recruiting. That's a big part to me of what Woodson lacked. They still need to listen and a work ethic.

Confidence that the money would go to good use. If a guy starts winning the money will take care of itself.

Sorry was a mistype but the info is very real despite what you already had made up in your head. In fact a lot of the talk of him drinking and out at the bars at Texas and Texas Tech was his Fiance wanting to go out and "let loose" and he would go and make sure she went home before she started blacking out. Hence why all the reports of him out drinking.

I understand that but I'd still take him over anyone out there right now. Even if it was for only 4-5 years.

Pitino personality is better suited for a job like IU and he's a better college coach.
