Got a lot of respect for Sam, I just disagree. Like i said Scott has been working this. No way brad waits all the time to then say no thanks on the first meeting. And add what Chris said, if that really happened, we would have told Dusty's agent he's our guy and we have money coming to him do the extension wouldn't happen. Until Jerry or Rtz(i think they are more connected than anyone else) come in and say brad is a no, i am on the brad train. regardless of them i am still hearing we are in a good spot. I look forward to see what happens.

Brain dead comment. Believe me or don’t, don’t care but I’m not trolling.

Morning everyone. Just wanted to give an update. I know we all have heard a lot of bs recently so I want to make it clear that I am not guaranteeing anything. last night there was a shift. People in my circle and people I hear things from went from confusion to all thinking a deal is in place with an announcement in march. Sometime after the regular season, maybe before the big ten tournament but probably before the ncaa tourney. im starting to think that I jumped the gun on Friday and got a little excited and starting saying we were further along than we were, and that’s on me. If you think about it logically, why would IU announce the next head coach when ours is still coaching? Especially with how nasty woody is being behind the scenes. I do think the Goodman post was intentional to keep noise down because we have a ways to go, again i refer to nick saban saying he will never be the coach of Alabama 13 days before it was announced the coach of Alabama. Obviously if he hasn’t signed yet he could back out at anytime. if you think I am full of it I understand, I don’t claim to be an insider, I just share things I hear from people who are usually accurate on what they say, but this is where I stand. Go Hoosiers!

I would be absolutely shocked if it’s Brownell, but at this point there isn’t anything i would rule out. Call it delusion, honestly that’s probably it, but my gut tells me the real Brad isn’t totally out of question, but maybe unlikely. either way I trust Scott
