May have been mentioned but earlier in the week some precedence for Goode getting another year: Justice Ajogbor played in six games at the end of Harvard’s 2021-22 season. Those were the only six games he played that year. He requested a waiver in connection with that season and it was approved despite him playing in the back half. Ajogbor doesn’t seem to have any other unique circumstances related to his request. He played in 28, 20 and 35 games the next three seasons.

I can see where young guys would feel comfy with CW - he seems like a harmless grandpa. A lot of his players really loved him - maybe not for the best reasons but they did. Don't get me wrong - I'm glad he's gone but he obviously made a good first impression with some players (since he didn't do much follow through - that's probably a really good thing)

If DDv decides he wants Bryson - I'm more then good with it. Did he react the best way with the current coaching staff? Maybe not but is that really his fault? Hard to take anything DD says seriously - his connections into the program have been destroyed over the last 5 years. They may be eventually be reestablished but I've heard from so many people that there is very little chance at repair.

Agreed - this is the portal transfer for the Agents - they make business decisions more then 'feelings' - Think if the NBA had one year contracts and incentives. Last year and the year before was more the wild west mostly but this year it's definitely calculated and driven in a way that is not 20 year old men making the decisions imho. Of course you listen to everyones pitch - why wouldn't you?

Sorry yes it was Lamar. Coach walked in with his family while I was walking out to get car - i passed the asst coaches as I was right outside. Wife stuck around to help my inlaw as I got the car - she needs help getting in car. So i did not see Lamar go in but she swears she did after I left.

I'm a bit anxious but I will say this - i was one of the dumb ***** that was convinced winning the off season ment we were gonna get at least a share of the big ten. I'm gonna hope for the best but I'm also not gonna react too much either way til December.

My wife swears she saw him when I went to get the car. Drove up in a black SUV - so that woulda been around 7pm (our reservation was 5:30 and we were leaving). So if she really did - showed her a pic and she says it was him - then he was still talking to the coaches till very recently.

Not mediocre - maybe some issues (that with modern rules I don't concern myself with) but not mediocre. He can get and help major talent. I feel like some of our best examples are that 2012 team that was one of my favorites. If I remember right he was pivotal in Vonleh as well though that one didn't pan out as well as we hoped. He can get talent/recruit and a solid coach - imho that's not always a combo that goes together.

Looks like May be running into same problem every coach has with transfers into Michigan. Hearing Morez Johnson may not go cause having issues with admission.

But it wasn't just one team - Michigan didn't have it's core together till Apr 20+, we didn't have our best portal gets to 20+, UK, WVU last year, etc... It's actually seems to be the norm more then the exception that teams finish or get most hits around Apr 20 (at least rebuilds). I wish it was done - I do - but man I've seen us fudge up the portal since it opened (imho) so I'm being patient and seeing what comes of it.

2 things that I keep coming back to - one we are waiting to finish our announcement on staff - that would help a bit imho. Teams are still playing - the best teams - these kids will hit the portal just like they did last year (especially those that feel their bench got too short and pushed them out a bit). You still fish when the waters are rough - at the beginning and very end when prices are inflated and values are silly - but you know your best catches come when the waters settle a little - around that Apr 15 to Apr 22 range imho.

Dix to Creighton - who picked that one? Not even the Creighton people thought that was happening - means he wanted to be close to his mom while she's sick - makes me want him more. Solid choice Dix. Money may or may not come but you only get so many opportunities to be there for family.

That would be crazy - when's the last time a college P5 team avg 100+ pts a game? (gotta figure the other guys average 3 to 7)

Seems to have the same exact effect on the outcomes. Our bed is made for at least 3 years (imho) - perspective is everyone's prerogative neither helps unless someone on here has actual influence which is most likely unlikely. I like to keep 'my head in the sand' or take the more optimistic view - heck I had fun thinking we had a chance at Brad. I figure either way it's gonna happen as its gonna happen - why not enjoy the ride?

Tbh i also love that McCollum went after him hard since McCollum has a huge expectation on his point guards and really only goes after high IQ pgs.

Look at Enright numbers at Drake - 40% 3ptrs. Never been super impressed with Holtmans offense tbh. Solid 15-20 min player. Love to see us get Conwell, Flory, and Booker. Loved Booker in high school and never really saw where he fit at MSU.
