I know you're tired of rehashing the same old stuff with Stevens. But you gotta admit, it's way more entertaining of a wait if we have these ups and downs of potential information leaks, even if they are only 5% or less true and factual. People thrive on hope....a chance (mixed in with some drama). The alternative kind of becomes a boring conversation about boring candidates. So, you are saying most of the information on here is not true. What the heck....

I think the arrogance between the two are a bit different. When you can point out something and back it up, it's not really arrogance. Woody's arrogance seems to push away his staff and the fans and not able to back anything up on the floor. I am okay with some arrogance (see coach cig), but don't talk down the fans supporting your program.

I think this happens when someone with a different view of who they want doesn't align with what they want then the shut it down, attack the person or proposed coach and even lash out in some ways. The fact is we as a fan base should be able to have a discussion on potential names and not attack each other but I don't see that happening in today's world of message boards or anything else. As I have grown older, I have learned to listen and value other thoughts and opinions. It doesn't mean I agree with them but at least hear them out and not attack them. Work life has taught me to not shut down others as it may keep them from sharing in the future and you may lose out on some good ideas or information. Just my 2 cents. Plus, it just a coaching search for a team we all love. Not a life decision we are making for our family or friends.

Can we all get behind this one at least. The tooth fairy will bring us back.

I think he would be a good hire. I don't know all of what happened in his past other than what was posted and in the news. Charges dropped and he has had no more issues that I am aware of. I am for second chances, Lord knows we all probably have used them or needed them. 3rd and 4th chances for some, LOL.

I would be good with any of these guys, but my fear is it will be someone out of left field again. Hope I am wrong. If I keep my expectations low, then I can be happy if we get a big fish this time.

Why are we looking at new coaches, did something happen recently. ;)

What scares is last year and out of nowhere Woodson is the next coach.

With all of this religious talk, I have to pass this on. I happen to have lunch with a client today and found out they were Cliff Marshall's first cousin (or so they said). He told me that Cliff tried to get a job at UK and was later told not to since there would be a coaching change and nothing for sure with a new coach. The main thing is that he wants to get back close to home where he wants to be a preacher around his family. Didn't know he was from that area but if he wants to be a preacher and he is on the staff.... Well, can we have that. JKJK Anyway, he said the athletic department and kids all love him there and he is hopeful that he will remain on staff with the new coach coming in.
