I like the thought of some of the players because that is all we have to be happy about right now. I wouldn't say I'm giddy over Woodson though. We have to make the best of the cards we are delt and that is what we have for now. If I could personally discard some of the cards and change my hand I would - Fire Woodson :)... -

If i am following your list, this would leave us with two additional sports open. I think we should fill those as well becuase of potential injury and not panning out. For me I would still look at Walker, and try to get both of Payne and Williams to fill all the open spots. -

I know we keep talking about improvement, but the staff can only give you the tools. You as a player have to have the want to as well. I have no clue about the kids at IU, but I do know that if a kid only goes through the motions they will never improve. Not sure who to blame here. Could be a little of both, but having the basketball staff we have, there has to be some knowledge of the game and how to improve basic skills. With that said we were horrible at ball protection and free throws, so what do i know LOL -

He does seem to have that punchers mentality about him. You can hit him and knock him down, but he seems to have that ability to get back up and keep going. I hope he makes the jump this summer... -

I figured I would get a both here. But really, the staff can't be bad at both can they. When we picked up Kenya and Yasir, my understanding was they were great at recruiting and evaluation of talent. The best one on the team I have seen recruit is Walsh. When you add in Calbert and Hulls, they should be able to develop talent. What am i missing? -

If you had to put names to each spot what is a homerun offseason. -2 starting guards (??) -a defensive 5 who can play 25 mpg whether it be starting or coming off the bench (Payne or Williams) -a shooting guard/wing (Would this be Tucker or someone in addition to him) -possibly a backup 4/5 (??) -

Do your think this is becuase we dont evaluate talent properly or we dont coach them into the next level of competition when they arrive. -

I used to work with a Larry Wilson years ago. His son was good friends of Calbert's and I thought his name was Chris. I have lost track of him and was just wandering as I would love to catch up with him again. -

I wander how NBA coaches like Woodson would do. I think the game has changed and Brand, Billy and others might struggle just like CMW has. who knows though. -

I am so sick of not being relevant in basketball anymore. When will be put the pieces together again. Do we really believe it is an administration issue? What is really holding us back.
