WOW... If recruiting is Coach Woodson's weakness, we are going to be amazing next year.

I am sure that Coach Woodson is not putting that kind of pressure on Franklin, to be honest. He will probably keep recruiting and Franklin will make his decision when he makes his decision.

It was my understanding that Roy got to choose his successor. I am pretty sure this was his first choice. If you watch his press conference, he was pretty big on loyalty.

I think some of Duke's history is wrapped upped in wall-to-wall non-stop ESPN hype for the past 30 years. I could probably recruit players to Duke if I had that kind of free advertisement...

Unless he actually enters the portal so that we can contact him, I do not put a lot of hope into this. If Keion was interested in coming to IU, he would need to open himself to contacting so he can find out if we reciprocate. Edit: it is not like the coaching search... there can be serious repercussions for back-end contacting.

+1 At the start of last season, I picked Armaan as the player who would make the biggest jump. Not really because I knew anything, but because I really like rooting for him and wanted him to make a big jump. Hopefully, if he makes another big jump it is to all American status at IU, not jumping to another school...

The fact Goodman is against it even strengthens my thought that this is a GREAT hire... If you ever find yourself thinking the same thing as Goodman, you have to reconsider.

I was on the Woodson bandwagon early... :)

He is probably ~18, so that makes him more mature than most of us on this board :)!

I thought that Woodson was one of the best options (after Stevens of course) - with Matta helping with the collegiate aspect this is looking pretty slam dunk for me.

Assuming that Stevens was considering the job last week, we only have had 1 week to interview people. Assuming Dolson is putting time and consideration into everyone's interview, that is not a lot of time. I hope he interviews as many people as he needs to and gives them all consideration. Heck, when I was hired, the interview process at my company had 4 interviews (the fourth was just to discuss salary) and took several weeks.
