Since we aren't getting him, they should kick the tires on Lewis.
-
Let's see where they are ranked after we beat them three times next year :)!
-
To be fair, I do not think it is Brooks Sr.'s job to keep squelching rumors that might pop up on this board. I guess we could wait for him to come out with a statement: "I'm a Lex-hole now. I eat fried chicken and raise thoroughbreds..."

Indeed, there are a few: 4 PF J'Raan Brooks RS SO 6-9 220 Washington 2 PF Jordan Brooks FR 6-6 190 Iona 3 C Nysier Brooks RS SR 6-11 245 Yes Miami Ole Miss 2 SG Payton Brooks FR 6-2 193 Abilene Christian

+1 Not a bad idea, there are plenty of top 150 players still unsigned. Given the backlog created by the extra year, it might be a good moment to buy low.

Mike Woodson and His Coaching Staff

Apparently even more quickly, you are quoting yourself from 5 minutes earlier! ;) -
+1 We have grown accustomed to big news happening every other day. At this stage, we may hire an assistant and may get one or two more transfers. The season does not start for 6 months... we need to start making things up :)!
-
+1 Difficult, but essential.
-
+1 If we bring back Armaan and bring in Keion (for example), our practices should be tougher matchups than three quarters of our games... that is what I want to see.
-
I do not disagree with any of this. I am simply saying that if our objective is a national championship in the near future we will have to transition from a team that is worried about playing time for everyone to one that has enough players to always be competitive. The problem with the way CAM recruited was that we were always a sprained ankle away from not being a tournament team. We should be a tournament caliber team with our second five. We now seem to think that CAM's approach to recruiting is gospel.
-
We need to deemphasize this. If CMW cannot keep players that could be starting elsewhere happy coming off the bench, then we will never be a title contender. I expect role players on our teams to be drafted in the first round in a 3-4 years.
-
Armaan... it is your turn now!
-
+1: Race deserves a long tournament run...

Mike Lewis did coach for Butler... just saying. -

His value might have gone up quite a bit in the last couple of weeks. Cannot blame someone for negotiating. -
Sorry about that. But my point holds for any of the players we are recruiting from the portal or back from last year. I would assume we are only recruiting players with options.
-
I am waiting for Keion to go into the portal... No insider information... just hopeful.
-
I don't think so.... It can be hard to make decisions when you have good options in front of you. Franklin should take the time he needs to make the choice he feels comfortable with. In my opinion, the longer it takes, the better our chances become.
-
+1 There is a reason that UVA and Illinois are recruiting him.
-
We could have some serious practices with those guys...

Xavier Johnson - Commits to IU (PG)

I think so too... I think the addition make it so that we can win some games next year. Plus if someone sprains an ankle or something, it would be good to have depth so that can rest it early and let it heal. -
Mostly Goodman :)!
-
I can see it. With the X-factor and if Armaan comes back we become a team that can actually win in the tournament next year. Minn is going to stink anyway... why slog through the bad years only to miss out on IU's coming out party?

I think we all know how he can catch up: https://247sports.com/Player/Jalen-Washington-46083366/ -
He does have this in a pinned tweet: Keion Brooks Jr. ( @KeionB_12 ) carving out his own path as he gets started at Kentucky #BBN http://indianasportscoverage.com/keion-brooks-jr-carving-out-his-own-path-as-he-gets-started-at-kentucky/
