I noticed this a couple times. You could almost hear him saying to himself "I wish Mom and Dad could see this happening."

Getting off topic here, but..... Do you remember when a local radio station did a parody on him and Laz? I think it was called "Buck Marlowe in the 21st Century with his loyal pal Laz". For his mistakes he got busted down from interplanetary explorer to working the "Space traffic cop" sort of beat. "Well Laz, we're right on course to make it home and....Check that Laz, we're about a million miles off course.... I have no idea where we are!"

You left out the legendary Hilliard Gates and Chuck Marlowe. Chuck could make so many mistakes it went beyond comical to sad (he used to get player names confused at times: Scott Benson, John Buckner, etc). The production from the low budget WTTV left a lot to be desired at times. Sometimes when there would be a problem with the broadcast, we used to joke that "Chuck must have tripped over the extension cord again!"

HA! I had to take that course also. I was in a business curriculum and never in all my years in business (now retired) did that course ever come into play. Didn't need a course to tell me if I had eight black marbles and seven white marbles in a hat, the chances of pulling out a black marble was greater than pulling out a white marble. Just goofy that it was required.

I had enough of Fife back when he (along with some others) threatened to leave if IU did not hire the coach of their choice after Knight was fired. I would have gladly helped him pack and get his self-entitled butt out of town.

Someone correct me if I'm off-base on this, but.... I know the athletic department has NO access to any tax dollars. This is state law for state supported universities in Indiana. So I would think this might preclude the department from having access to the IU general fund? Does the department not operate 100% based on athletic revenues including sales AND donations? If that is so, then what is McRobbie's problem with the department having say as to how they spend money the department raised? What am I missing here?

It seems that many on here want a coach whose team is still playing, but want to get it done before that coach's team is eliminated. You can't do that. Patience folks.

I'd rather have a guy who doesn't feel the need, and has the maturity to not do either. Give me someone who knows how to act like they've done it before and will again, without the "look at me" moments.

You are quite right. The problem is, there are a number of people without the vision or thought to understand such things.

I just can't fathom an AD sharing this sort of information. I will still believe what Rabjohns said on JMV that the whole physical failing thing didn't happen.

I wonder how many people are aware of Calipari's highly unsuccessful NBA resume? For the record, he went 72-112 in the NBA.
