Nice to have you on, I grew up in Bloomington, now live in Boonville/Newburgh. Graduated from Purdue but still root for the Hoosiers against the Boilers. It’s been a rough 25 years, Ready for Better days!

I lose track of where I read things but my understanding was that his team reached out to KY saying he would want to go there. We are having to offer almost a million more, that seems like a lot. I definitely want a kid that can shoot like him but the old me just wants a guy that kinda wants to be here. I don’t Blame the kid If I could play basketball at IU but another team was gonna give me a million more in cash I would probably go to the other school. Just makes me wonder if we shell out this much money will we have enough for other players(Mack etc)?

Is Wilkerson worth the $$$ and whatever the other thing he is asking? It seems pretty clear the kid wants to go to Kentucky. We need players I know but seems like a red flag.

I’m really hoping we get Payne.I liked him when he was at Minnesota, I only watched him once this year but he looked like he put in some work on his body. He was a beast in the game I was watching. IF we can get Dix and Payne I’m feeling REAL GOOD! *would still like a pg that can get in the paint

I don’t think in the last few years I ever recall a player leaving and taking more visits and then picking a school he visited early. I’m sure it’s happened I just don’t remember it

Doesn’t mean he takes it. If he leaves Bloomington today chances he comes are slim
