It’s definitely a pickle …I read an article that mentioned some facts that allegedly came from arrest affidavits…without being intimately familiar with Alabama laws ( as they may differ slightly, in a general sense, from Indiana criminal code), the most interesting point of the fact pattern for me was a mention of millet having parked his vehicle in such a way that appeared to impede the movement of the victims vehicle. The potential for criminal liability ( or defense therefrom) hinges primarily on miller having knowledge of his friends intent to commit a crime or if he should have been reasonably aware. He could hold a position of plausible deniability if he had no knowledge of a potential conflict and simply brought the firearm at his friends request. If he had further detail of the purpose for the request ( which purposefully boxing in a car could suggest via circumstantial evidence) he could open himself to co-conspirator ,felony actor, accomplice , or vicarious liability

I scrolled through everyone eligible who is shooting 40% are better and there are only two in the country with enough games and shots who are shooting 50/40/90 and he’s the only one shooting 50/50/90

Around mid season and we have an indiana kid leading the country in three point percentage

Blow out …brown 20 7-10 from field 6-7 from 3 blackmon 21 7-11 from field and smith 16…57 points by indiana kids. Suder looked good and was leading scorer for bellarmine ……brown and blackmon have a combined 96 over the last two games if they ( or even one of them ) is shooting well it’s a pretty tough team in that conference

Game Thread: vs. Northwestern 1/8/23 at Noon on FS1
IU/Butler/Notre Dame replied to coonhounds's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
First in person game today in several years …anyone else going ? Northwestern has been playing solid …looking forward to an iu win and seeing a healthy barnhizer for northwestern -
I was just giving you a hard time …that was a great game especially for the three Indians kids …nau had an amazing freshman guard also
-
Blackmon tore it up tonight …he has shot poorly all season if he gets comfortable Stetson could win their tournament
-
Hey cmon now ….brown had twenty-SIX ;)
-
You would risk all the computer viruses you’ll get going there ?!?
-
I should have qualified that with an “if” because you are correct your evaluation matches mine

Watched them all year last year because of brown and proximity ….1. Sellers is takinG major steps and is going to be a monster especially in the mac 2. Coleman transferring back from course helps but lewis has made a big difference they are playing more team basketball ( which was non existent last year ) and, as much as I hate anything that could be construed as negative against a local kid , cutting bumbaloughs minutes in half and keeping him at around two shots per game instead of ten plus has helped them click

Kion brooks tore it up in the first half …first time Ive seen Washington play and they had 3 or 4 very high level isolation/ nba style players ….type of team that could be a major problem in the tournament for any given game but doesn’t look like a team that can string 3-4 high caliber games together …..of the teams I’ve seen so far Arizona from top to bottom has been as impressive as anyone …interesting mix of both talent / athleticism AND team play

IUBB @ Iowa - Thursday, 1/5/23 @ 9:00 on FS1
IU/Butler/Notre Dame replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I think they spent the entire practice week prepping geronimo to make as many mentally stupid plays as possible knowing the refs would inevitably miss one or two thus leading Fran to have an unprecedented meltdown and/or medical emergency -
There are few things worse in this world than convincing a spouse to go somewhere she doesn’t really want to go but she agrees based on a SINGLE positive aspect only to arrive to find that aspect no long exists ….happens to me frequently , im surprised Im alive

Question: but how did you get rid of the smell ???
-
I know this is a non iu thread but Arizona looks significantly better and deeper than Kansas the 2.5 games I watched Kansas
-
So this weekend we did my dads 80th and I missed out on a lot of watching opportunities BUT 1. We were flat against Rutgers and JHS looks like he’s awfully important to our success 2. Notre Dame lost to Boheim 3. Stetson got boat raced and brown didn’t look like he could even run, blackmon couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn and they barely played smith 4. The colts played matt Ryan AGAIN and the colts got embarrassed AGAIN 5. Pacers lost two games and Haliburton got hurt 6. Purdue won easy 7. I’ll probably be fined for including two points they are non college basketball related ( damn it guys I have no one else to share with ) anyone wanna take first watch making sure I avoid tall structures and sharp objects ?

Does anyone know the extent of goodes injury with Illinois ? I haven’t seen him play at all
-
That was my point …the Two games I saw Kansas play and the box score from Utah state coming into those two did not impress me at all on the eyeball test ….maybe it was seeing the close box with Utah state then watching the two close games with nc state and Wisconsin then reading about the flop against Tennessee all back to back was just a bad stretch and not indicative of actual ability but they didn’t seem very kansasy to me
-
I hope you’re right …the little I’ve seen Kansas it just looks like they are going to have a down year
-
I don’t disagree with road vs neutral but from what I’ve seen from the two teams Arizona had performed as well or better than expected and Kansas has underperformed …a couple of their wins were nail biters that shouldn’t have been I think they will Have more losses come years end than zona BUT I’ll be thrilled to be wrong about that if we leave Alan field house with a win
-
Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it though ….since Kansas and nc te trending down Im hoping we give Arizona one of less than five losses and we give Purdue 2 of less than 7
-
4-26 but Texas is only 4-19 ….maybe they both have excellent perimeter defense ;)
-
Arizona behind early and we need them to win
