I think you are spot on ...there have been several games that have gone that way and I think he’s very forward thinking for his age about trying to get the other players involved and get their confidence up moving into the next game .....I think it’s probably also correct about iu being a foregone conclusion however with the contact Purdue has made and with the offers they’ve made to people in the past ( foster loyer most recently ) I think if Purdue had more than one open slot left for 2021 he’d be in the running for it....absent getting to a legit 6’3 ( right now he’s not the listed 6’2) I don’t think iu will have interest even if he makes a state run and carries them there ( which also isn’t possible with Blackhawk Christian at the semi state match up) lol the tv guys people either love or hate I know lots of people that watch it on mute and I know some Blackford people that done come to the games specifically to hear them ...they are interesting characters

I’m definitely on the same page ( clearly ) ...in stuhoos defense though I think he was more ribbing me than giving me full on grief ...he has posted here many times and interacted with me in an extremely respectful way even when he is disagreeing ....I never mind people disagreeing with me especially if they do it with a sense of humor

I was wrong ....only 9 steals ....3 assists 4 rebounds 4 turnovers and 33 points on 18 shots ....championship tonight against tipton 730 at Blackford

First half Blackford 45-30 ...brown has 16 ...no 3’s ...he scored 8 straight in a 15-20 second stretch ...Taylor has some long athletic perimeter players and they are double teaming brown ...they are super careless with the ball im trying to run it back in my head and I think brown has 7 steals at halftime

Man wish they would have gone the way of your suggestion ...would have been a great game to watch ....Norwell looks amazing this year

I can’t disagree ! I certainly will feel much better if lander reclassifies to 2020 and even better than that if we hit Kaufman as well because tjd could be gone by treys freshman year

You’re welcome for posting outside ...I’ve been doing it in a few of them now 2. ummm yes I posted it in both furst and lander thread hoping someone had local or inside knowledge 3. you probably didn’t have time to look so I won’t give you a hard time but I actually posted in several threads about being psyched on the lander signing and then contained in the post you quoted I REALLY wanted both and got my hopes up when lander signed since I knew they’d be teammates this summer ( I actually liked Furst more than lander even ) 4. Never said thats what I thought could be quite the opposite could be Furst has a problem with him but I don’t know either kid which is why I asked 5. If Kaufman signs I don’t think it totally cancels it out but it does make it close to a moot point oh ...and go luke brown

I apologize if it was already discussed in this thread and I missed it ...but does anyone else find in interesting that there was zero feel on fursts preferences to this point ( an indication he was taking his time ) and then out of the blue committing To Purdue less than a week after Lander signs with us ? Lander if I’m not mistaken is switching to Indy heat aau which is fursts team ...I had hoped that switch would put them together this summer and if lander reclassified would put us in a spot to get both and still have a slot available in 2021...anyone hear if these two don’t get along ?

Finished with 34 points 9 assists 4 rebounds 2 steals and 2 turnovers ....Blackford won and plays Friday against Taylor ...Tipton won and plays Friday against eastbrook so a Saturday Blackford ve Tipton showdown seems inevitable ....now has 2003 points

Yeah great call ....I didn’t realize they would hit silver creek prior to semi state ...having a bye in the first round likely means they would be a four game maximum ....21st century charter gets kouts in sectional but already beat them pretty easily I don’t see them getting challenged till semi state Blackford should get 3 for sure and past that would have a solid chance to get up to 6 ...they didn’t get a bye so that would add a game and while their regional has possible wins I think their regional hits Blackhawk in semi state and I don’t think anyone in 2A beats them unless shanandoah or linton play out of their minds

Correct and Johnell Davis with Gary 21st century charter ...both seniors ...both tough players on 18 plus win teams ...not positive on heritage hills but 21st century charter should get a minimum of 6 postseason games and I was told heritage hills is favored in their sectional

I’ve tried to look as far back as I can through any databases and I can’t find anyone that’s done both ...coach hoover indicated it’s not been done in an interview and then doyel from IndyStar reported separately it hadn’t been done. He’ll have a tough time maintaining both though as his closest competitor in assists ( only one back ) plays for heritage who is poised for a deep run in 3A and and his closest competitor in points plays for 21st century charter who is a title favorite in 1A

Congrats to iu and to lander! BIG signing. Kid has some special physical talent and if he comes in and plays with a high motor and full effort he could be a difference maker. Even if that means that any tiny chance of contact with Luke brown is an impossibility As a result of the signing I’m still a fan of it ( which you guys know says a lot since I can be a tad obsessive )....if we don’t get the other chips we have pushed for and have an empty slot anywhere I still think arch should send a letter or Two in case lol

I am inclined to agree with you ...the concern I guess I have is if IE platinum is saying they are going to only provide reduced minutes and Indy heat is full ....where else do you go that’s considered “top” ? and he’s already got an incredibly high usage rate with his team in regular season so I’d honestly love to see him with An aau outfit where he gets to do other things too ...even if I don’t love aau as an evaluating tool it would be great to see him continue to get to facilitate to great scorers like he did with IE and also have a chance to play off ball some

Sort of Yes ...I’m sorry for the delay ...they are undecided and currently fielding requests from four teams While they didn’t say this was something that couldn’t be shard they didn’t disclose the four teams and I didn’t pry ....said they would shoot some of us a summer schedule ( to try and make the games ) as soon as they committed so I’ll post that immediately when I receive it

Also ...do you know which other three sectionals fees into Blackfords regional ? I believe it’s the lapel regional but I’m not certain
