Another IU CB pick from Alec Kinksy, EYBL Recruiting Analyst 60% Wisconsin 40% IU
  5. David Bell teases Trayce that every thing it's all #GoGreen comments. I don't know where he gets this from considering almost everything is IU fans.
  6. DJ Carton, a 2019 4 star PG who just moved up 83 spots to #38 in the 247Sports 2019 Player Rankings has scheduled a visit to Indiana for the IU-Purdue game on the 27th. Here are some quotes about IU from Carton in a new Rabjohns piece. “They said I’m one of their top priorities and top targets” “I’m glad we are able to get there for a good game. It should be fun in Assembly Hall. We’ll be down there this weekend. Me and my family, we can’t wait to be there.” “They think I have the qualities to be a point guard at the next level. They think I fit well in their style by the way I play, how I can speed up and slow down, my smarts for the game, how I’m always looking to get other players involved but yet I can score if I need to,” “I know Indiana has a rich tradition, full of point guards. It’s an honor just to have them want me to be a part of their program.” Here is a link to his 247Sports player profile: https://247sports.com/Player/DJ-Carton-46040438
  7. 3-star DT who took an OV last weekend. Won't be surprised if this kid pops next. Also worth noting, Sio plays at the same school as most recent IU commit Kervens Bonhomme. https://247sports.com/player/sio-nofoagatotoa-46052258
  8. Per Matt Weaver, the top IU target at Safety Nic Toomer is closing in on a decision and will announce by the 30th. It is down to IU, Vanderbilt and Northwestern. https://247sports.com/Player/Nicolas-Toomer-46048334

IU up to #29th nationally and 9th in the B1G after the commitment from LB Kervens Bonhomme.
  10. Interesting quote from Tracy in a new Peegs article. Said now that he is the done with his recruitment, he is going to be the number one recruiter for the Indiana Football program. "I will be in David Bell's ear 24/7. Now that I am committed my recruiting process is 100% done. My job now is to become the top recruiter for IU. I will be in the ear of top guys 24/7."
  11. They're actually cousins as well. Nice grab for us.
  12. Officially visiting this weekend.. Wouldn't be surprised if he popped for the Hoosiers after the visit.
  13. Rabjohns said that Ramsey told him he is going to visit Indiana.
  14. New video interview on Peegs with Carton. Although mostly IU questions, Carton didn't sound like a Michigan lean to me. Mentioned he has gotten a chance over time to speak to some of the younger guys at IU including Romeo, and Victor Oladipo on his last visit. He also referred to Oladipo as one of his favorite players. Carton also was asked what the impact is of having a coach who played his same position in Archie Miller recruiting him, he noted that he felt it was pretty important and it definitely helps having a coach that knows where you're coming from that also understands what it's like in your shoes. When DJ spoke about Michigan in the interview he mentioned that the staff was on him pretty hard and that he was looking forward to getting back up there to see the campus as the first time around he went for a football game and didn't get a chance to see the rest of the place. Carton will take official visits to Michigan and Indiana late this month and has no more visits scheduled as of right now beyond that. As far as a decision, Carton said that because his schedule will be so busy soon, to get all the visits he wanted in he would probably have to decide a little later than maybe first thought and is shooting for October.

    (2019) Center - Aidan Igiehon

New article on 247 says after completing the second session of games on Wednesday at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, Igiehon discussed his interest in Louisville, Oregon, Stanford, UConn, St. Johns, Kentucky, Duke, Indiana, and Florida. Another recent article by Jody Demling gives mention of Louisville, Oregon, Stanford and UConn as the "hot" schools and Igiehon says he is looking at cutting his list to eight schools, but isn't sure when that would happen.
  16. Announcing his top 8 at 3:00 per his Twitter.
  17. Carton told Peegs he wants to decide by August but that isn't locked in.
  18. While Johnson was brought up in the College Football thread, I figured i'd make it's own thread. Under 30 minutes ago, Matt Weaver published an article on Peegs that the Hoosiers were expected to be in the mix for Johnson. Before committing to Clemson in 2016, Johnson committed to Tennessee when current Indiana offensive coordinator Mike Debord and QB's coach Nick Sheridan were on the UT staff. Weaver says sources tell Peegs that Johnson has developed a very good relationship with the two coaches, and that is one factor working in IU's favor. Another positive for the Hoosiers listed in the piece is that Indiana strength and conditioning coach David Ballou was the strength coach at Avon HS when Johnson's older brother Cole played for the Orioles. The family reportedly thinks highly of Coach Ballou and the job he did working with their son. A head coach at an Indiana high school also informed Weaver that Indiana is expected to be squarely in the mix for Johnson whenever he decides to make a decision.
  19. Hunter has chosen Northwestern. He took visits to NW, Purdue, IU, and Duke per Steve Wiltfong.
  20. Craig has locked in an official visit to Indiana for the weekend of June 15th per Steve Wiltfong. IU is in the top five alongside Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State, and Ohio State. Of the teams in his top five, Ohio State, Indiana and Purdue have crystal ball picks.
