I also remember a few instances in which players were held out during NCAA investigations into the program, seemed as if Crean took these things very seriously. Remember Parea and Hollowell being two specific instances in which they were held out of games, and for considerable amounts of time.

Wow, this is scary, yet exciting? Let's hope IU gets lucky this time around.

The whole video of him saying he can't reveal his and Romeo's "secrets" is obnoxious more than anything to me, that drives me crazy. He's been trying to soeak things into existence for a while and he will be trying very very hard this weekend, let's hope it annoys the hell out of Romeo

Just my personal opinion, but I watched a live stream on instagram from Darius yesterday, and he so god damn obnoxious. Just seemed kind of immature to me, and I have gotten that vibe from him a few times, just watching how he carries himself it makes it pretty obvious. Romeo seems much more mature and I don't think they're as close of friends as Darius thinks they are...

I also thought it was stated that the FBI was done with the Adidas circuits and had moved onto investigating the EYBL circuit, I think most teams that were caught, were announced in the initial probe with Adidas. At the same time, I am worried because at one point, Indiana was up there at the top, however there was only two really highly touted players on that roster, and neither of those guys were players Adidas would have paid big money for. Kenny Johnson was involved so that's scary. Honestly hope these teams are announced sooner, rather than later.

The main thing I point to in regards to why I don't think IU will be involved is the fact that most, if not all of their alums play different shoes, aside from Adidas, and in the case of teams that were hit by NCAA violations in last probe, we saw Adidas buying out players for when they got to the NBA. As USPS said, this was all a part of the plan, we all knew Kansas wasn't going to just roll over and take a loss, especially with a kid like Romeo. Self will do all he can at this point to get him to join the Jayhawks, same with Drewfus. He will be interviewed, he'll say the visit was great and Bill Self's meeting was great also, it'll be normal answers as always, "The visit was good, it was a great environment, etc." Indiana remains in a good spot as said by recruiting experts. Take a chill pill you guys, there is still a long way to go, the longer, the better it is for IU if you ask me.

this is off topic but why is it I always see Fk and Btown commenting right next to each other, every single time I swear to god.

Only reason I think he might go to the game against Illinois is because it will be his last time to see IU on their home court. He has a game on senior night against OSU. He probably won't be there, would be cool if he did however. I think the fact he was invited clears up the speculation that IU has backed off for whatever reason.

I go to a MAC school and I've watched him play, really solid fundamentally and solid defender. Not sure he'd be a big ten standout, but a great role player I'd think

I'm not saying this necessarily matters, but some of Romeo's twitter likes show up on my feed. He likes a lot of tweets mentioning his as an IUBB target, and the occasional one from fans saying they want him in candy stripes. Only ever seen him like one vandy thing though, probably nothing, just an observation.
