  1. Radio analyst from southern Indiana who calls some New Albany games
  2. Tonight I watched Jaelan Sanford from Toledo, who has been rumored to be graduating early and would consider IU if that were to happen. He's a 6-4 guard from Evansville. Pros: Sneaky athleticism, he almost plays 35 minutes a game Smooth shot, shooting 40 percent from 3 Gets to the line, 85 percent from free throw Spreads the floor really well Good vision, drive and kick ability is impressive Quick dribble Quick shot release Can finish through contact, he had two and-1's tonight Cons: Questionable defensively, gave up 27 points to Eugene German, to be fair he's leading the MAC in scoring 4 TO's, averages 1.5 per game Not a great rebounder, but had 7 tonight Was hesitant to shoot at times If I had to make a reasonable comparison, I would say a Nick Zeisloft type, who can't shoot quite as well but he is more athletic and mobile than him. Similar in-game IQ. I think him playing off the bench would be valuable, and would add much needed shooting to the lineup.
  3. He's not the best on Assembly Call but I listened to a radio broadcast and he wasn't bad. Regardless, he's connected and knows what he's talking about, especially in southern Indiana. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. I often forget how good that 2012-2013 team was
  5. Zach McRite, a sothern Indiana radio announcer who's done New Albany games has been saying all he's heard in southern Indiana is Hoosiers, Rabjohns confirmed that is the word down south. Take it fwiw.
  6. Post game interview last night with Rabs. Major things I noticed from it. 1. Likes how much Schilling has done and says that player development is one of the biggest factors going into his decision is him getting better. 2. He understands that Darius is good but knows that once he gets to college, everyone can play and everyone can be as good as Darius. Basically shut down the idea that he'll go there because he's close to Darius. 3. The idea of a big following doesn't matter to him, his goal is to get better no matter what. 4. He doesn't think about anything post basketball so IUs alumnus doing things for him after his career hasn't been in his mind. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Sean Miller caught on phone

Believe the FBI investigation only goes back 3 years. Could be wrong, thought I saw that somewhere. If that's true, Vonleh's recruitment and Williams recruitment won't be involved, at least the beginnings of it and the commitments. If anything happened during their time at IU, it might be included. Sean Miller caught on phone

You never hear anyone mention Bryce Drew with his brother and his brother may be even worse than Sean.

    Sean Miller caught on phone

It doesn't matter who he's tied to as long as he's not dirty..

    Corruption in College Basketball

Really bad night for Indiana huh
  15. Yes in some way the teams are receiving improper benefits.
  16. Almost every team getting big recruits is dirty in some way, including IU, hate to say it. It's not even shameful at this point, it is literally what we must do to compete at the level we expect IU to compete at. It probably isn't on the level that Louisville and Duke are on but in some way, the staff is offering benefits that other students are not getting.

    Corruption in College Basketball

I lied, Jared Jeffries is one that is represented by him.

    Corruption in College Basketball

No former IU players have been represented by Andy Miller. Lots of Clemson players though, which is unexpected.

    Corruption in College Basketball

OG and Vonleh were the only two, Vonleh is the big one that everyone is worried about, plus Bryant wasn't too far off a first round.

"If your team produced a first round pick in the last 3 years, be worried". Does not sound great

Game Thread: Indiana at Nebraska 9est BTN

McRoberts was utterly useless though, wasn't even strong defensively

Game Thread: Indiana at Nebraska 9est BTN

Hard to win with 20 turnovers, especially against a really solid team
