Chat was interesting. Peegs said there has been little to no Vandy chatter. A lot of professionals think we are in good postition for Romeo. Overall it's looking good, but as always things can change.

We have to stop saying he won't be a legend at Vanderbilt, they're best player ever is Will Perdue for god sake. Give Romeo some credit, he'd be a legend that all 8 Vanderbilt basketball fans tell their grandkids about.

It was set up by the IU staff, it's not luck they got the seats they got. They were there to be noticed by Romeo, and his family. They were not there to just watch some basketball.

Yes, his dad said that since he won't be visiting during post-season, he'd likely push back the decision in order to visit IU, assuming the visit is still necessary

Romeo Langford is not a god among men, all it takes is a couple bad calls or an off night from Sean East and Romeo is bounced. Losses can happen to anyone at any time, it's March.

Rabjohns also just said "If your asking my opinion, I wouldn't go if I was the head coach. If New Albany loses, I could go to a workout at the school where I could actually talk to him. I certainly would not have gone to regular season game where there would be a long autograph line and I wouldn't even be able to talk to the recruit. Bobby Capobianco is very well connected, Archie was trying to hire him as head assistant, but big Bobby C had better offers. May as well shut the thread down... Wish it were different.

He hasn't had THAT many opportunities to see him, this opinion is vastly overrated and really has no merit. Archie will see him this post season, and Romeo has likely not made a decision yet. It was a rumor, relax.

Archie has in fact made it to see Newman

He transferred after Sophomore year I believe, don't know why Archie would give any info to a former player, who didn't even play for Archie and has really nothing to do with him. Only reason I can think of is Ed Schilling, but I don't think they're close. Could be wrong though.

Curious as to why Etherington would know, and why would Tim Langford say the things he did if they really were undecided. Doesn't make sense to me. No mention has been made of this on Peegs, or on any Kansas fan board, wouldn't worry too much.
