Just watched a ton of phinisee's highlight films and I must say I am a lot higher on him now. Those on here who have been proclaiming how he does the little things right are correct. One think I noticed was that he puts the ball in the shooting pocket of his teammates when he passes the ball. This is a small detail but goes a long way and is one of the reasons he is a fantastic floor general. I would love to see what he could do with better talent around him. Confused because he said his preferred trams are NY, MIA, SA, and MIN, and he claimed his reason for requesting a trade was to be "the man." But on SA and MIN, he wouldn't even be the best player. Something doesn't seem right here, although Windhorst is one of the best / most reliable analysts in the game. Typically one point guard but he uses sets with two, and the lesser PG just plays off ball. At Dayton and over the past four years, Schoochie ran point and john Crosby / kyle Davis would play 2. This is spot on and exactly how Archie coached at Dayton. In his four years, Scoochie Smith always brought the ball up and controlled the tempo. Very rarely did someone outside of the PG bring the ball up. I saw a couple months ago people wanted to recruit how UNC does (but without the greasiness and cheating), and I think with the recent commits Archie has begun to establish just that. We've gotten some very good recruits, but still 3-4 year players with the potential to add one or two one and dones.
