http://www.insidethehall.com/2017/04/17/clifton-moore-talks-decision-to-stick-with-indiana/ Inside the Hall got some quotes from Moore this morning. I've seen the "Archie's system is like my AAU team" a couple times now. I think Justin Smith said it too. -

*whispers* I've kind of felt that way about Gelon for a while. We don't have much shooting signed long term. -

I have MANY Matt Roth regrets. Especially when I think about the Syracuse game. -

Crean's under-the-radar prospects go one of two ways: (1) kids with big potential who rise in estimation when more widely seen and (2) desperation gambles (Priller, April, etc.).* I feel strongly this class is the former. *I cannot figure out what happened with Grant Gelon tbh. -

Really excited about Clifton staying! One thing about Crean, he did have a good eye for under-appreciated talent. Really excited to see Clifton develop into his big potential. -

Exactly. Reports are Tyler Dorsey from Oregon who declared w/ agent has at least one offer from a Greek team for several hundred thousand dollars. For talented kids who can't improve their stock much, it's a hell of a backup plan if the NBA doesn't work out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Oh yeah I'm from the Chicago burbs; Lincolnshire is a great place. Smith actually played my old high school this past season (and lost :P). -

http://www.insidethehall.com/2017/04/15/video-al-durham-jr-justin-smith-talk-derby-festival-basketball-classic-win/ I love these kids. Justin Smith, in particular, is a great interview. Really well-spoken and clearly a smart kid. His answer to the question about being robbed in the slam dunk contest was great. -

Justin looks like he could contribute right away, and I too am intrigued by Al's vision and passing. A good showing by both! -

If we have to choose Bryant for next season or Clifton Moore, what would we want? Bryant would obviously make us better next year. -

Durham just made a sweet pass in transition. Great bounce pass through traffic. -
The dumbest take on the hiring of CAM thus far. In the segment, Crispin spends a lot of time saying a lot of things that don't really make sense, but the gist of it is that he believes that Miller is hindered from succeeding because the emphasis is on our outsized expectations instead of on the process of getting there. He thinks Underwood is in a better situation than CAM. It's wildly bad. I thought BTN would get it, but nope. Watch for the lulz.

Great and insightful kids. Glad that they'll be suiting up for IU in the fall. -

(2018) PG Robert Phinisee to Cincinnati
ramadden13 replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I'll be interested to see which assistants (if any) go with him. He told Romeo they would all be in to see him. I wonder if he'll full court press Phinisee and other in-state recruits. -
Stupidest Miller Take - Crispin on BTN
ramadden13 replied to ramadden13's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Crispin's fly-by mumbling about process is back!! http://btn.com/2017/04/12/crispin-time-to-value-process-of-building-true-winning-culture/ One notable low-light: This is so dumb. First, consistent success was the goal, not just consistency. Second, Crean's process was bad, and it was the reason that lots of us wanted him to go. His recruiting had fallen off and problem areas (defense, turnovers) were not addressed over a number of seasons. IU didn't let Tom Crean go because he missed the NCAA tournament this year. IU let Tom Crean go because his. process. was. bad. I hate these idiotic fly-by takes that don't bother to learn anything about the situation that they are writing about. -

I heard that Schilling wasn't a major factor in his recruitment. And there are the rumblings about his interest in UCLA being tied to their UA contract. -

Did you see what the Dayton beat writer wrote in the comments? David JablonskiVerified account @DavidPJablonski Replying to @sullymygoodname @handsomeghost and 2 others I don't think he'll go to IU because some UD fan changed his avatar to an IU logo and started saying bad things about him. Really. -
Archie Miller's staff at Indiana will be Bruiser Flint, Tom Ostrom (Dayton) and Ed Schilling (UCLA),
