Most likely true. It's just crazy busy these coaches are. I assume summer time is really these only chance. Even then, they have to recruit and help with summer workouts.

Coach needs a little bit of rest and to get lunch with Don Fisher lol. In all seriousness that dude has been working non stop since he was hired. Still pieces left (roster spots/coaches) but I can't imagine he's seen his family that much. Take a day or two off DD.

As long as he is cool with a role off the bench and fits, I'm all for him coming back. If I remember right he still should have been in high school this year.

That and he averaged 14 a game at Memphis on a tournament team. Doubt he would get anywhere close to that here.

Ridiculous...Nobody should be playing in college over the age of 24. I'm sure not many 25/26 year olds left, but them sticking around hurts incoming freshmen.

Kind of neat IU will have options on a few different lineups. Assume one with Bailey at the 4 and a traditional 5. Another with Bailey at the 5, Tucker at the 4, etc.

Always nice to wake up to a commit, even if expected. I'm no scout, but from what I watched he is able to get to the rim and finish. Streaky shooter. Like most of our guys so far is able to shoot long range threes. Comes from a team that was just in the NCAA tournament. Heck, you can say he was their best player. Million dollar question is will these guys all fit together and we won't know that for a while. Side note: I made a comment on Twitter about Conerway and some UK fan had to comment and trash him. Funny for them to call us a quad 4 game and then talk about us on Rupp Rafters. But enough with them. I'm guessing another guard/wing type player (Goode?) along with a few 5's is next in store. After that who knows. Always fun to see the roster take shape. Just shows you in the future not to panic early. We didn't know IU was going after some of these guys a week or so ago.

Jasai has great size and length for a guard. Two years left. Improved as a shooter from Fr. to So. year. One thing I noticed about Jasai and pretty much all of our guys: they are capable of making deep threes. Teams are going to have to guard us well beyond the 3 point line.

Someone on 247 put a prediction in for Jasai Miles. I see an IU logo next to his name right now. Honestly couldn't tell you much about him.

As I like to say, who ranks the rankers. The MOP of the Final 4 this year was also ranked too low. Ended up being a first team All-American. I am excited to watch a little bit of film on Conerway.

Yeah and basically said if it's between IU and UK it should be an "easy decision". Acted like they would know yesterday at the end of the show he would be coming to UK. To be fair, Matt Jones wasn't there. I'm not sure he would have approved the way they were talking. Matt does a good job with NFL coverage on ESPN radio.

I'll say this: I know we all give Rabby a hard time. However, after seeing how the KSR guys acted with Wilkerson, we should be really thankful he isn't like that. There is a video on X going around showing how arrogant they are. It's gold, go listen to it if you have a chance. Last night Rabby basically was saying Conerway was going to IU without actually saying it. I kind of appreciate that. Let the kid still have his moment, but let your subscribers know it looks good. Nothing extra.

I'd be kind of surprised if IU doesn't have another commitment or two by the end of this week. Only so many minutes for next year are left. The Troy PG sounds like the next potential domino to fall.

Agree. Coach HAS to win this year and I get going after seniors. But I hope by year 3 IU has a solid core returning. I said earlier I haven't watched Freeman play but if NBA scouts are interested in him as a D2 Freshman, he's only coming here to start. I assume he can play at the same time as Tucker and Reed.

Realistically probably 2-3 more major contributors left. As far as minutes go, I'd bet Wilkerson, DeVries, Bailey, and Enright are 4 of your top 7-8 in minutes played. IF Goode returns that's probably 5. I assume PG and rim protecting Center are left. Maybe a player like Freeman is in this mix. I like the plan so far in building this roster. I do think he wants to have a lineup with DeVries at the 4 and Bailey at the 5 for most of the time.

I'll be honest I have yet to watch his film. But it's really impressive for NBA scouts to be interested in a D2 freshman. With the Elite 8 being in Evansville, I think Lincoln Memorial has been there a few times. Very good program.

I love it. As a kid, I thought UK-IU was a bigger rivlary than Purdue (I didn't know any better and Purdue really sucked at the end of the Keady era). Hope this kind of sparks the rivalry back. Ridiculous they haven't played in the regular season in 14 years..

They'll be solid for sure. We will see about top 5. I like what Pope has done, but the pieces have to fit. It sure did this year for them. I'm kind of surprised the 3 freshman they had this year are getting burried down the depth chart by transfers. Those guys were huge for them this year (Chandler, Perry, Noah).

It's not my money and I have zero clue how much money IU actually has to work with. But if IU really is offering 2.8 mil for Wilkerson, man that's a lot. Don't get me wrong, he's a good player and have loved watching any bit of the tape I've seen on him. I can see him being a potential All-Conference guard which is great. Shooting has been a non factor at IU for almost 10 years now. Just seems like a lot for him. Feel that that kinda money should be reserved for a legit All-American caliber player. I could be wrong. Again, not my money lol.

Probably the #2 reason I'd love for IU to land Wilkerson is to shut up the Kentucky fan base. All I see is "if we add Wilkerson we are a final four team" as they lay out their projected starting 5...4 of which none of those fans had zero clue about and most likely have never seen play before. Every fan base does it, but it's hilarious when "X" player is the missing piece. Next November outside of Oweh they will have pretty much an entirely new team...just like us. Don't get me wrong, DeVries needs to land dudes. It's nowhere near panic time. Let's see where we are at in a week or so. That being said, regardless of who he adds all of the talk will be speculation until November. I'm just tired of winning the offseason. I'd love to get Wilkerson, mainly because this program hasn't valued shooters in almost a decade. That being said, if he goes somewhere else IU will have a team next fall. Not one player is bigger than this program. Yes, I would buy stock in Kentucky and Louisville's programs right now. Love what Kelsey and Pope have done in year one. But the fanning from the national media these last few weeks cracks me up. Kelsey has zero NCAA tournament wins. Last time I checked Kentucky doesn't hang banners for making the Sweet 16. Let them do the silly GIF's on Twitter when they get a commitment. Good for them if they're "winning the off-season". We did that last year (with proven P5 players) and look how that worked. Let DeVries do his job and back the man..If he loses to a mid major by 30 points in his debut or refuses to put in the work necessary to win, we can criticize him. Right now, he deserves the support from the fan base.

IF IU really wants Wilkerson, I think they can get him. I just don't see how UK can outbid IU. They don't have a lot of spots left. I think the Lewis de-commit is more about the PG they got from Pitt.
