Only way I can see him coming back is if he is told he's a borderline lottery pick. Unrelated note- Why is Nassir Little still so high? He has done nothing compared to Romeo. They won't be next year. Maybe as Sophomores or Juniors. That is why Rob, Al, Justin, Jake, Damezi, and Jerome are so important. They have to get better so we don't rely on two freshmen next year.

Exactly. Currenlty committed to SIU for football and baseball. He is opening his recruitment back up. Probably the best football player to come out of Evansville since Levron Williams. Again, don't know how good he would be in the B1G but I think he deserves a shot. Was a 4 year starter in high school. He can be a solid D1 QB somewhere.

Good teams win close games like this. We lost a lot of those last year.

I don't know if anyone follows IHSAA football but Evansville Memorial QB Michael Lindauer will be on a visit to IU on Friday. Personally think he is a D1 QB. Probably in the discussion for Mr. Football. Won state as a junior and almost won it this year. Don't know if he is a difference maker or not but couldn't do any worse than Penix or Ramsey.

Tonight's take... a win is a win. I don't care if we won at the buzzer or won by 50 we have to we these kind of games. Penn State is probably an NIT team. They are tough. I'll be rooting for coach Chambers and his team the rest of the season. A few things... 1) For Archie's first 20 months on the job I really haven't had any complaints. However, Justin Smith HAS to sit. I don't know what's going on. I hope nothing is wrong with his family. But he is costing us games. Start the Jagger kid over him, I don't care. But he has to sit. Sorry to the Bills fan on here but he is worse than Nathan Peterman. Goodness... 2) Is it just me or has Fitzner been a dissapointment? What is going on with him?? 3) Great game by Rob and Romeo. Rob rebounded really well after a few off games. I think he clearly needs to stay in the lineup. Turnover Devonte was back tonight. 4) Liked seeing Clifton Moore get some minutes. Think he could be a solid role player. Really don't know why Damezi and Jake aren't playing. McRoberts doesn't seem 100% yet. Hope this team gets ready for University 6 on Saturday. I hate those guys and they have had our number lately.

If Freddie boy wants to keep Tommy around for this group then fine. But for all the hype they are getting they better be one of the best classes IU has ever had when it's all said and done.

We are LUCKY to be able to play Penn State, Rutgers, Illinois, AND Northwestern on the road. Gotta win them all. I think @ Purdue could be a win as well. They don't impress me at all.

I hope he plays. I just looked and there are12 teams from the Big Ten who have a chance to make the big dance. ( I think it will be a 9/10 bid league). Every Big Ten game counts. A win would be huge tonight.

It will be a tough week. We will know a lot about this team by Saturday evening. Will be VERY pleased with two wins. If that's the case this team can win the B1G. Now they look like a middle of the road Big Ten Team. Joe Lunardi has IU as a 6 seed as of now...I'd LOVE to be a 6 seed but this team hasn't shown me that at all except for the Marquette game.

Don't know how I feel about this game. Any road conference game is tough. Penn State has actually played some decent (not great) teams. Beat a very good Virginia Tech team at home and played Maryland tough on the road. Lost to two borderline NCAA teams as well (DePaul and Bradley). If Juwan plays I favor IU. If not it will be a dog fight.

I think so too. Archie knows he's ours once he offers. I think he is just waiting around to see how his junior season goes. I'd be okay with him too.
