Went again tonight, it was awesome! Ja Morant is probably the 2nd or 3rd best player in college basketball behind Zion and Daum. Future All-Star PG. They could upset a 4-6 seed in the tournament for sure. I live in Evansville so I hope Walter McCarty can turn the Aces into a program like Murray State. The fans complain a lot but they are loud and have fun. I don't think Belmont gets it. They didn't really beat anybody in the non conference slate. Lost to Purdue-the only NCAA Tournament team they'll play. It is really tough for mid-majors to be at large teams. You have to schedule a tough non conference slate and hope you win some of those games. Belmont played and beat UCLA-but they are not a tournament team.

Went to the OVC Semi's tonight. Awesome environment! Windler kid from Belmont is good. Really think Morant is going to be a star in the NBA. Also cool to see Magic and Larry Fitzgerald in attendance. The final should be a good one. Got tickets really cheap!

Will Wade suspended indefinitely. They seemed to be the favorite in landing Quinones. Helps us out there.

Said this last night on here...LSU is my darkhorse final four team..but they better enjoy it. I think the NCAA will come down on them.

The scary reality is Archie has to plan that way. The doctor's don't know at all since it is a condition. Now, that doesn't mean Jerome can't light it up and be a B1G POY someday.

Remember, the NCAA kept Davidson out in 2009 with Curry. They will keep Morant and Murray out too.

Agree. I think it for sure gets Glass fired. I don't expect football to do much and another down year in basketball gets you a new AD.

Lunardi has them as an 8 or 9 seed. I guess the win @ LSU carries a lot of weight. Their record may be similar to Iu's.

Wish Keion the best if that's the case. No need to hate or bash the kid. I think his goal is to be a one and done. If that's the case, IU may not be the best fit for him. Archie needs guys who are going to stay and develop. One recruit is not going to save a program (look at Romeo folks). Just hope he can pull in more talent for next year or IU/Archie will be in trouble. He cannot afford to miss the tournament again in my opinion. Looks like your starters are Rob, Al, Jerome (knock on wood) and TJD. Davis (not sure he can play 20-25 plus minutes a game), Thompson, and Franklin provide good depth. Maybe Justin comes back after his recent performances. Need a few guards who can shoot it. Quinones? Beverly? Grad transfer? Think IU is an 8-10 seed next year. Will struggle offensively but will play hard. However, should return the core of that team and could be dangerous in 2020-2021.

Knock on wood, but I'd love for IU to play them again. I do agree I don't think we will see a lot of upsets this year. I think the final four will be made up of mainly 1 or 2 seeds.

Thanks for doing this. Obviously have to root for Marquette-helps IU out for quality wins and a Seton Hall loss could put them out. Big East is weak outside of Nova and Marquette. Must wins for Creighton and Georgetown or they probably have to win the Big East (still think that is what it is going to take for them). I think Florida is in. Two tough road games this week at LSU and UK. Lots of teams could play spoilers tonight.

We obviously have 9 more days but I can't remember a recruit where nobody really knows anything. I think by April we knew Romeo was an IU lean. Maybe James Blackmon Jr?

Maybe this is old news but I saw Pat Forde tell a Louisville sports radio show that the NCAA is going to hammer Kansas Louisville and LSU. Go Butler, Purdue, and Auburn! Xavier loss probably puts them out as an at-large. Minnesota loss drops them a bit. If they win, they are probably in. An Alabama loss and they are probably a last four team in.
