I could see all of those happening. Nevada didn't live up to the hype. Florida could take care of them, if not Michigan will. Tennessee is iffy. I think they make it to the Elite 8 but that Cincy game could scare them. This same team lost to Loyola last year. Auburn is playing really well and I think has a legit shot at the final four. Oregon could knock off Wisconsin easily. If not for a Bol Bol injury Oregon would be a top 16 team. I think Wisconsin will not make it to the Sweet 16.

I actually have UC Irvine in the Sweet 16. Huge loss to Kansas State with Wade being doubtful. All they have to do is focus on Brown. Same with Wisconsin in the round of 32. Slow Happ down and they have nothing. Looks like UC-Irvine is a run and gun team who plays decent defense. They have won a lot of games in a row (builds confidence). Don't know if they have the horses to beat Virginia. I took Kansas over Northeastern. They are still talented and have some motivation to play home games in the Sweet 16.

Curious...anyone having a hard time picking upsets? Only ones I am seeing so far are Murray State and Seton Hall. Looking for at least three more. Any advice? Yale over LSU? I think this tournament will be like the ones from 2007-2009. College basketball seems really top heavy. I don't see a cinderella this year.

Instead of talking about a recruit that didn't choose IU, let's talk about one that did. TJD's high school career came to an end yesterday. Fell one game short of the state finals. I know nothing about Center Grove basketball but he has to be the greatest player ever at that school. 3 sectionals, 1 regional. I'm sure many awards locally. Should be 2x All-State and Mr. Basketball. I am really excited for TJD to get to IU. I think he will have a solid Freshman season and will be up for FOY. I think he could be All B1G good by his sophomore year. IU hasn't had back to back Mr. Basketball's since the late 90s. That is a good sign for Archie Miller. TJD is going to have a huge part in bringing this program back along with Rob, Al, Armaan, and the rest of this crew. He is going to be a good ambassador for this program. Rob and TJD could very well be one of the best duos in the country in two years.

The Duncans are good at a mid major school. Came from the same high school as Cheaney. I remember Crean invited them to Hoosier Hysteria one year. I wonder if they could have played here. Ernie for sure.

It has been 21 years since IU had back to back Mr. Basketball's (assuming TJD wins it). Have a stud PG. Need a wing and a shooter and you will have me sold. Think Archie needs to tweak the staff a bit. Not overreacting from this season-just think there needs to be a new voice. Don't know how much that changes things.

Yup. I blame them more than Crean and/or Miller. I've said it before, you have to know how your APR score will look. If that is really preventing us from bringing in/getting rid of certain players to make this team better, then why the H E double hockey sticks did they not step in and do something about it!!!

IU has lost 15 plus games in three consecutive seasons twice...2009-2011, 2017-2019. Fun times. Fun times...

Healthy Jerome and Good Justin gets me over Keion. Like you said, lets get a shooter, preferably not from Saint Mary's. World hasn't ended.

I wasn't big on boards until after Crean was fired so Romeo, TJD, and Keion are the biggest recruits I have followed. Wish him well. It stinks because IU was the leader for a while in this recruitment. Have to move on. Rob and Al need an offseason like many of our players had in 2011. Love TJD and Armaan. Archie needs a shooter and a wing and it'll make me feel a lot better about next year and the year after. Honestly this would not hurt if we knew 100% Jerome was good to go. 2nd thing-deleting the Peegs account. I just felt like they led you on. They'd create another thread if Keion farted. That chat never worked for me either. I also like interacting with you all. The people on that board seemed ruthless and nasty. It's also strange no UK beat writers were there but Rabjohn's and Peegs were.

Yeah I don't want to go off topic but I don't get that one. He seems like a typical Indiana 3 star recruit (not a bad thing). The Love/Morton decision is what I think. I don't see 2020 being a big class. 2021 could be.

I saw the post on their little site...I wouldn't put a lot of stock into it. They claim it was a bombshell and it wasn't. Just my opinion.

What recruit is next? April 2017 to April 2018 was Romeo..May 2018 to November 2018 was TJD...December 2018 to March 2019 was Keion.

If it wasn't for Rabby/Peegs I would think he would be a slam dunk for IU.

Any of you ever remember where two recruits are going to an annoucement for a player that may either join them or join their hated rival?

I agree with many, I do think it is unfair if the mother is calling out IU fans. I know Kentucky fans are way worse. Didn't they threaten a ref after the final four with Wisconsin AND Elite 8 with UNC? Not saying what some IU fans do is right but don't act like it is one side. My thoughts on this weird recruitment- If he goes to UK then good for him and I wish him the best. That is what he thinks and that is the only thing that matters. No need for any fan to bash his decision. As far as IU goes, I love the core players of Rob, Al, TJD, Race, and Armaan.(Maybe Justin?) De'ron should be back and maybe Devonte. However, I'm not sure this current roster of players coming back/coming in can get IU in the tournament next season. The Big Ten is going to be even more loaded next season. Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio State, and Minnesota will all return a lot of talent. Archie HAS to upgrade this roster or this team will be in some trouble next season. Whether it is Brooks, Quinones, Grad Transfer, Juco, I don't care. Guys, he has to get this team in the tournament next season. I hope our returning players have a 2011 offseason like Hulls, Victor, and Sheehey. They have to be tired of this crap.

Really interesting development that TJD is going to be at his announcement. I would think if Keion was going to UK he would tell TJD "Hey, I appreciate this but I'm going to Kentucky. You don't have to come". Especially considering he has a Semi-State game Saturday. Who knows...maybe Keion has said something similar to that. Awesome of TJD to do that regardless. I really do believe that nobody truly knows. I think the UK buzz is coming off of the visit. They just have momentum especially with our crappy Big Ten play this year. The crystal ball isn't always right.
