I don't know if Wilkes would leave UCLA with Alford. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but a huge part of Alford's pitch was networking with local NBA talent.

I've seen his name come up a few times, but nothing appeared to have any merit. I have massive amounts of respect for what he has accomplished, but no thanks. The style, speed, and competition level of men's and women's college bball are not comparable.
