The criticism is fair during the season. He killed us in a lot of games when our defense held strong. He wasn't the only one though. Play calling by the coaches, a decline from the running game and losing Simmie hurt. However, I can remember a few games where he would just air it out and be incredibly late on throws resulting in INT's. Also, took forever to get the ball out resulting in too many sacks. However, I don't see anyone attacking him in the offseason other than just hoping there is an improvement. The leash won't be particularly long if one of these other kids isn't far behind RL. The defense is just too good to waste mediocre QB play.

Was this surprising? Think we have depth there. Really disappointed on the Patrick front. So much hype each year and never got to see him do anything.

Top Louisiana safety Isreal Mukuamu to FSU. We had made his final 4. Would have been a huge get but based on the offers he had not surprised we didn't land him. Still impressive to be in his top 4 with the likes of FSU and USC.

Forgot Max he would be a great addition. That's honestly not a bad team right there.

i think we could field a decent team starting with these guys: Sheehey Hulls Watford DJ White Rod Wilmont Earl Calloway Nick Zeisloft Mo Creek I think most of them are still playing or if not have recently retired. Probably missing a big and maybe after this year you could add a Rob Johnson.

the basketball program didn't prioritize Jallow. I'm sure Allen would love to have Pechac though.

That would be a monster get. The type that draws other big name guys to commit as well.

I assume David Johnson in the 2019 class since he has been mentioned recently as drawing interest from IU: David Johnson, Trinity High School: Johnson, a four-star guard in the Class of 2019, is on the radar for both Louisville and Kentucky at this point. He is Scout’s 31st-ranked prospect in his class and the top player in Kentucky. He has offers from Louisville, Cincinnati and Xavier but has also drawn interest from Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

I think there is still hope we get him. Unfortunately, we are going to prioritize some other positions now.

He had a lot of great offers. Really impressed so far with Allen and coaching staff's recruiting efforts. Allen might not have the name/accolades of Kevin Wilson but he seems like such a likable, high energy guy. So many parallels to Hep. Keep the recruiting train rolling coach!

If you add Romeo why not try to add 2 more? Romeo is definitely a one and done from everything I have read. I'm not saying use all of the schollies to use them. But if you can get a PG and then either Dort, Garland, Henry why not? Those are great talents to add to a class. Things sort themselves out. Also, Romeo may wait a few months so maybe Archie fills the other two spots soon and leaves that last spot open in case Romeo/Garland commits. Just a possible strategy.

Based on his comments, I think he sees the writing on the wall regarding PT here. If Butler gets him it will be a great get and a guy I see being a great 3-4 year player.

I thought Henry was more in the guard mold. These guys are more likely to lock down the front-court.

Amazing what can happen with recruits when you get the right kind of coach in place. What an impact Archie and staff have made in such a short period of time.

If you think Henry is a stud and will be a big time player I think you take him. Someone likely transfers with all these guards and the classes probably end up balancing out.

I was surprised with Hunter but I would be really surprised with Garland.

But 2019 is so deep. I want to have at least three openings for that class. Then again, it's just part of the landscape to expect at least one transfer every year.

Duke and Langford are my predictions for the final two spots. I did really want Henry though but love the Anderson pickup.

Seems like too many wings of the same stature. Feel like he might be the odd man.

That was my take as well. Sounds like if Izzo makes him a priority Dort is theirs.

Would we take Hellems and Henry? They both seem to be most comfortable in the SF position although maybe Henry is a SG in college.

Hope he has a great game and I hope we offer. This kid sounds like a hidden gem from a recruiting ranking standpoint and one that will provide an impact soon whether it is on the offensive or defensive end and be here 3-4 years.
