Bizzare situation.

Yep and Crean kept getting chance after chance so it's quite the opposite at UF. 9 seasons vs 2.5 seasons. And Mcelwain won the East in his first two years, which wasn't happening too often there when Muschamp took over. That's like Crean finishing in the top 2 or 3 in the BIG, which according to this brass would have been seen as a huge success.

He was nowhere close to the hot seat coming into this year so something happened. There are a number of stories out there but the bottom line is there was some type of falling out with the AD/athletic dept. Muschamp got 4 years at Florida and was a much bigger disaster than Mcelwain was. They also had the #11 recruiting class this yr and #7 for 2018. Maybe he wasn't Urban Meyer at UF but half of a bad season isn't the reason they are going in another direction here.

Bad with talent? They won the SEC East two of the three years he's been there. This is much more than wins and losses based on what I have been reading.

Phinesse has no guarantee at minutes his freshman yr no matter where he goes. Even with DG I still would picture him getting some backup PG minutes.

We have done it a number of times this year so it's not a fluke incident. Very hard to explain. I also tried to look up our special teams coach and couldn't find him. is this Allen's call? completely inept on special teams.

Lemonis < Smith. Did he hire Smith? If so, I retract this statement. But Lemonis is nowhere close to Smith as far as coaching is concerned. Lemonis just like Allen had no head coaching experience before taking the job.

Missouri and LSU did the same thing. For the most part, not working out so well. this is the worst mistake you can make as an AD. Glass has downgraded the baseball team, kept a lame duck bball coach too long and essentially didn't want to be bothered with a HC search for the football program.

i know the o-line took a hit but did we really lose any other key pieces from last year? I expected us to at least be the same but we seem worse than last year.

There is absolutely no one who watched this game and can come on here and tell us one positive about this game.....there was none.

very disappointing for Allen. This is one I am sure he expected to win. To lose to a Maryland team with 3rd string QB is brutal.

Outside of Oakes it has been embarrassing. Single handedly put us in a hole against Penn State. Just seems to be one of those things that we screw up at least once a game. Even earlier when Oakes kicked the FG didn't have enough guys on the line so had to burn a TO. How does that happen? Shouldn't the same guys be out there every time??

There maybe some folks who defend Debord but can anyone in their right minds defend the special teams coach? Whoever the hell it is....this has been an achilles heel for us all year.

Special teams is usually the ultimate barometer of coaching....not a good sign folks. this has been an issue all yr.
