I get what you are saying but as soon as another assistant is hired it will all be in the past and people will move on from it. Especially if it's someone that will bring instant recruiting clout. Seems like we are legitimately playing like we are trying to prove that we are a good basketball team. Better late than never! Had Howard stopped when it was broken up with Gard no one would be calling for him to be fired. He didn't...so people are saying it's a pattern with him and he should be fired. This may very well end handshake lines in the Big Ten. Just like court storming has ended some rivalry games on campus. The narrative will be "we can't do that anymore because someone will get hurt" instead of saying "man, I wish adults wouldn't act like children." Maybe this was a strategy to get the entire team suspended so they wouldn't have to lose another game this season? Might have helped their tourney hopes like when they had to postpone games against the top of the conference because they didn't have 7 players available.
