I love hearing all of the rumors concerning what is taking place behind the IU curtain. Just trying to temper expectations on what the final outcome will be. I am like the vast majority of fans that have no knowledge one way or the other. I personally feel there is no way that he can be back after this year. The apathy towards the program is at a level I have not scene since Mike Davis's last year. There are plenty of fans that I know that don't post or read the message boards and there feelings are the same. They aren't watching games and want to see Crean gone. Fred Glass has to see that. I found this article mentioning Archie and Indiana from a couple of years ago. If it's been talked about forgive me, but Greenberg was on Dakich's show today. He basically threw IU in same boat as NC State in struggling to find a coach that can do better than the predecessor. I personally find that statement idiotic. Basically said who are you going to get and threw out Holtman's name. What are you guys thoughts on him? My opinion is Crean to Pearl would be a lateral move at best. There would be good and mediocre/bad seasons. I hope that when and if a new coach is brought some form of stability ensues.
