Which fan base will value the Indiana star more, Uconn or Indiana? That answer is painfully obvious. From the minute he gets to campus to the end of his career, he could be state royalty. Not so much at UConn where he's just another 5 star to that crowd.

It's a shame a talent like that will go to UConn and end up just being another ball player to those fans.

It sucks from the standpoint of the homegrown IU fan getting poached. But I agree this is nowhere near a program breaker. I'm really looking forward to our back court additions that don't have a freshman learning curve and come with 3 years eligibility. I hope the Indiana boy represents basketball country well. But UConn can kick rocks, Mullins or no Mullins. Really big rocks. While barefoot.

Then the question is, once Reibe and Mullins finally commit, do we come back to him with a more prosperous offer?
