2024 PG Daquan Davis to Florida State
HinnyHoosier replied to Gnet550's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Good Lord. Portions of first 2 pages of this thread made it feel like we reached back out to Grant Gelon. -
Game Thread: IUFB @ Penn State | Noon on CBS
HinnyHoosier replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Worst thing about IU football fandom is being so IU at football but still covering the spread. -
2023 IUFB Prediction League - Week 8 at Penn St 10/28/23 Noon CBS
HinnyHoosier replied to LIHoosier's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Let's not forget PSU is also coming off a loss and are now playing the perfect opponent on which to beat out that frustration. Never played this game before but.... Brittany Lions: 48 Help-Us Hoosiers: 3....Maybe. -
Fired yet? No? Ok. I'll check back in tomorrow.

Mgbako Arrested, Paying Small Fine for Misdemeanor
HinnyHoosier replied to DoctorP's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
An isolated (as of now) strong reaction is not a mental health issue. It is however being a human being who knows better and needs to learn the value of cooler heads while continuing to grow up. If it becomes a pattern? -
Kyle Schwarber - Philadelphia Phillies
HinnyHoosier replied to LIHoosier's topic in IUHoosier Baseballers in the Pros
Kyle will have one of the best HR reels ever to grace YouTube. And maybe the longest because most of them just never land. -
Hoosier Hysteria - Friday, October 20, 2023
HinnyHoosier replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Succinct and encouraging, thank you. Are the Hulls children stroking it at a 40% clip from distance yet? How early is too early to start in on legacy recruits? -
Hoosier Hysteria - Friday, October 20, 2023
HinnyHoosier replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Any other insights or observations from HH for those of us who couldn't view? Yes, I'm needy right now. -
Kyle Schwarber - Philadelphia Phillies
HinnyHoosier replied to LIHoosier's topic in IUHoosier Baseballers in the Pros
Kyle just passed Reggie Jackson for most post season home runs by a left handed hitter ALL TIME. -
Uhhh, sitting here at work in NC as I type. Shout out received! Also: Teeter Ham, Extra Teet

(2024) - PG Boogie Fland to Kentucky
HinnyHoosier replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
That's why you always have to have the premature celebratory drinks flowing, man. That way when life sneaks up and gives you a memorable cup check, you're already numb. -
(2024) - PG Boogie Fland to Kentucky
HinnyHoosier replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Let's not assume this staff doesn't have a contingency strategy on the table. Let's also not assume said strategy applies only to this class. Woody & Co has performed above and beyond expectations in my opinion, and enough so that it's safe to assert they aren't a fluke. As far as pUKe is concerned, pressure's on Cal. Take the recruit, see what you can (or in his case, can't) do with that talent in terms of program success. He's proven nothing more than an overall inability to succeed with the highest level of recruiting in the last 14 years along with a fear of playing Indiana for nearly the duration of his tenure there. -

Would love for us to be the nail in that coffin in the near future. -

Sarcasm. But the panic across the board screams it. -

Just stop with your rational approach to life. We don't do that here and you know it. -

So if we don't have Fland the program is a wash. Am I interpreting this board correctly? -

Who is your favorite nascar driver Steve? What say you to this Noah Anderson spewing the Boogie UK nonsense? Asked in order of importance. -
(2024) - Liam McNeeley to UConn
HinnyHoosier replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I was at City Museum in St Louis today and a Jayhawk fan was in line behind us. I was so tempted to just turn around so he could see the Indiana script across my chest and wag my finger at him. That or slap his wrist and introduce myself as the NCAA. -
Oof.

I hope this is the best morning Woody Indiana fans have had in awhile. -

Off topic, but yeah those Cowboys cost me. Lol. -
I'd almost prefer Richardson stay sidelined for this one. Aaron Donald doesn't give me warm and fuzzies with him fresh off a concussion.

Moving on from Tom Allen with a 20M buyout would be the epitome of stupidity. It's a waste of time and energy move on from him at all until someone makes a dedicated effort to make the job want-able.

...Too bad the neutral court Battle 4 Atlantis games won't prepare the 2024 squad well enough for road games.

That's the benefit of playing in a power conference (especially one that mixes football rules and refs in with the basketball). These boys will have plenty of tests in conference play which happens to span the majority of the season. Odds are they will fulfill your imagery by getting the opportunity to wipe the blood from their mouths and keep going. I agree that the quality of teams we will be playing in 'not-home' environments will test the team quite enough early in the season. It's also about building confidence and keeping that going; you can't be mentally tough without confidence.
