Random IUBB Recruiting

Anyone have the Inside the Locker Room feature that was posted on Peegs today? I'm too cheap to pay them [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
More likely to be legitimate with Marshall working on him. Makes me wish for what could have been for TB had this staff been here a year sooner. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

(2018) PF Darius Days to LSU
HinnyHoosier replied to hoosierpap's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Agreed. The kid looks comfortable anywhere on the court and could probably bruise if/when he needs to. -

Maybe it was this guy: "In my opinion that should scare the s*** out of all of us it does me I got this weird feeling we better take advantage of IU this year after it's not looking good. And that is my humble opinion before somebody attacks me." Yeah, I'm glad someone mentioned the Purdoo boards. This is fun. -

Anyone got the Rabjohns update on Henry from Peegs? He just tweeted a link about Henry updating where he stands now. -

Player and Recruit Retention News/Discussion & Potential Transfers
HinnyHoosier replied to Brass Cannon's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I feel like Carter is plan A for Archie having already locked him up once. He probably has a better idea of what he's getting in comparison to Moretti. That plus the need for a front court body vs a back court body. But a Plan B in Moretti isn't bad if Carter doesn't work out and he's really wanting to fill that last scholly. Looks like the guy can shoot and has great confidence in doing so. I'd have liked to see more play making for the teammates around him, but I've only seen one video. You don't know who's making the vid, either. Could be some clown that thinks offensive talent is nothing but making buckets. Guess we'll see. I'm anxious to see this squad regardless! Wow. Didn't know some of these stories. It's telling of the Crean era. Not that any of those kids' choices were his fault, but some situations obviously could have been handled better. Seemingly, it was the lack of consequences that failed to command respect for FCTC among many of those boys which bred a crappy culture among the program. This is probably a superficial observation since I'm working and cant really read through all of the details shared here, but wow. -

Player and Recruit Retention News/Discussion & Potential Transfers

As much as I love this possibility, I feel reality will continue being the harsh son-of-a-gun that it is and leave Priller and Gelon on our scholarship list. Not meant to be a slight to either one of them. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

What those people don't realize is that it has the potential to help IU out if JBJ, RoJo, and TB all get high quality feedback and are able to use it to improve their games over the course of another season. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Well we knew it was coming, but still a bit of a bummer to actually see it happening. I'll root for him the same as our others. Now I'm gonna have to give in and buy NBA league pass. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Archie Miller's staff at Indiana will be Bruiser Flint, Tom Ostrom (Dayton) and Ed Schilling (UCLA),

Like, a sure thing? Or a "this is very possible" thing? Edit: regarding the Rabjohns story. For some reason didn't quote you, Usps. -

Guess he was better at covering his tracks. And hey, he married her so at least it was "love". Hopefully any poor decision-making patterns are out of his system and he focuses on locking down the back yard big boys (assuming he is actually coming). -

I went to school with Kyle so I heard some pieces of information that I never saw in the media, but I never heard Schilling's or anyone else's name dropped during the scandal. -

Idk about anyone else, but I thought the episode was a little "meh" for a season finale. The whole season, especially the second half, was slow going. I haven't read the series, but it seems like they are really stretching the storyline now. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

2017 March Madness Tournament Thread
HinnyHoosier replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Understandable. I only included them because I feel like they're going to beat Oregon, so they're basically my last option to keep Gonzaga from winning the title. Hopefully Oregon can vanquish both demons! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Much as I hate to say it, guess I gotta root for UNC or Oregon. Gonzaga benefits fromv the terribly weak WCC every single year. They got put in the weakest portion of this year's bracket. I respect Mark Few. That's it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
