Sorry, unsure of attendance numbers and in hindsight I obviously was forgetting the opponent. Doesn’t change the fact the only a few local media outlets may be there. If it was known he was announcing there’d be far more, including national outlets I would assume. Doesn’t mean I don’t want it to happen, i just don’t see it being done this way. Hope I’m wrong

I feel like if it was happening tonight it’d be well known at this point, so there could be media there. No 5 star is announcing in front of 1000 people with no media there.

True but every analyst out there has TJD 100% to IU, that makes this a bit different.

I’m not angry, just disappointed as I thought this was coming to a close and TJD and perhaps Brooks both, were going to commit soon and continue with the momentum. Our momentum will have to be done on the court until spring it seems, and that’s fine as I think we’re looking at a good year. Very interested in what Pap and Chris have for us when they post hopefully today, because I do now feel like IU isn’t the leader we all thought on TJD. One thought about the PR around a recruitment like this and if he’s looking for the Romeo treatment. He’ll get that and the IU chants at all the game etc. However, how many times would his name be mentioned on broadcasts during IU games (seemingly when IU is looking good this year) by announcers talking about how good our class is coming in and who’s in it......

Crystal ball is obviously not foolproof, but until it changes from 100% IU, I’m not losing sleep over anyone.

Yep, same problems again over last two weeks, google survey, or Apple user or Comcast user $1000 winner. This is the only site and incredibly frustrating. Can’t get through more than a couple posts before the pop ups happen.

Me too, fwiw there are no crystal ball picks for IU. I find it odd with an imminent decision and where IU might be considered neck and neck that not one person has IU.

Really? Just curious why? I view it as a chance to take a trip to an iconic blue blood in Cali but they have a slim if any chance in my opinion.

Yea I’m thinking odds are 75% IU 25% Michigan State.

Oh the emotional roller coaster of this game! My L31 team after playing so well all year, loses by 16 to a team in the 200s!! Moments later my L37 team as a 16 seed knocks off a #1 seed in the NTT!

I’m on both of them as well as Porter and feel equally good. I was distraught at Wyre being a 4 team tie as an unranked recruit. I thought he was coming in CL. Only 3 of my 15 recruits weren’t maxed by someone and only 1 of them has only 15/16 RPs. Near impossible to find safety nets in L31, especially as a small program.

I had a night a couple weeks ago where all 3 of my normal league teams lost either in OT or last possession and my test league team lost 2 of the 3 games that night in OT. That was a brutal evening lol

Things have quickly changed in L31 for Ft Myers. After going 7-17 (5 of the wind in DTT) as a small program, I somehow managed to bring in the 6th ranked class, which has led to a 5-2 start (1 loss by 4 pts, the other a 2 pt OT loss to Athens). We’re fairly small, only 2 guys over 6’6 so I went after height this year. Thankfullly many local bigs want to stay home. 3 freshmen are starting so if I can secure some frontline depth, we could be competitive for awhile! L34- the Orlando Racers lost a +10 PG yet improved over the rollover with the 12th ranked class again with some lucky tie breakers. Losing a 20ppg pg leaves a void but on paper we’re better and I’m anxious to see how the season unfolds. L37- Bloomington Huskers aren’t very good but we just won the C15 regular season title, (yet aren’t in the top 100). Recruiting isn’t overly promising so it might be some time before this team is any good.

Congrats! L31 is ridiculously difficult so that’s a major accomplishment! Maybe just maybe things are looking up in Ft Myers. After winning 2 games all regular season, we were a 14 seed in the DTT and finished 3rd. That led to some recruiting momentum as we broke 2 ties and brought in the 6th rated overall class with ratings by the magazines of 9/9. My team went from +18 to +29 overnight with the signings lol. L34- team is mediocre but so is my conference. Tied for the conf championship only to lose on the tiebreaker, by 2 ranking spots...ugh. Hopefully I can win the conf tourney and get into the NTT. L37- started out 0-4 with 3 close losses, now 2-4. Test League- after missing the NTT for the first time since I’ve taken over, had an unexpected NTT run into the final four, followed by an elite 8 year. Currently sitting ranked #1, though I don’t think we’re quite that good.
