Think we should have fouled on the previous possession to keep extending the game.
-
I used to love this time of year....2 fun years in the last 16 have eliminated that.
-
Unfortunately just a normal BTT outing for us. I should have watched the game at a bar instead of at home...ya know for obvious reasons.

10 pt deficit feels like 30

Call me the old get off my lawn guy, but I don’t like the walking out of the locker room to the court. Jog out there with energy. Let’s go!

Ridiculous Devonte, I’d rather be at work than watch this crap effort.
-
Lucky we aren’t down 15

And Devonte is back too....

Justin ******* Smith is back

Bo again....it’s like he’s under contract to do every IU game!

Rutgers at Indiana Game Thread | Sunday 3/10 @ Noon ET on BTN
A.j. Nigh replied to Hoosier Guy's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Thanks for posting that. 2 things of note - Knight was remarkable at speaking with class when he wanted to. It was nice to see the cheerleaders, pep band, managers acknowledged. Second - they should take Damon’s clip about playing at Indiana and it’s meaning and Archie should watch it with every recruit, especially if they are from Indiana. -
(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky

Essentially said can’t blame a 5* for going to UK, if indeed he goes to UK. I took it as he’s going to UK with a slight hedge in case it somehow turns out to be IU. -

Just my opinion, if Rob hadn’t gotten hurt, he’s our best playmaker by now. I’m not sure he isn’t anyways. Scoring we need, but scoring becomes easier if we have a shooter or two to spread the floor. -

I admit this may sound like sour grapes but I’m not sure he’s what we need right now anyways. I’d much rather have a solid outside shooter, and preferably one that will be here longer than a year. If he decides to stay home, great. If he doesn’t, eh, next! -

He’s had a good offensive game but defensively he’s given up a bunch too. -

I realize Smith was on fire but why didn’t Race play at all for Morgan in the first half? He came in the last possession for Smith. -

Been thinking this, and Al preferring to go left, why aren’t they switched? -

No. If he’s open with 5 seconds left on the shot clock, fine shoot it. But he needs to stop hanging out at the 3 point line. -
#IHSAA Boys/Girls State Tournament

Just a few people at New Castle tonight -
Fisch was on JMV’s radio show this afternoon and wasn’t happy. Said he wasn’t going to talk about it and JMV wasn’t exactly sure what he was upset about. Fisch admitted it was about the Knight story and wasn’t going to go into any other detail about Knight but did say whatever relationship he (Fisch) has with the Indy Star is now over.

(2021) G Luke Brown to Ball State
A.j. Nigh replied to HoosierCoop's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Ventured to New Castle tonight with my 16 yr old son. Unfortunately, we arrived late due to his track practice. Knew it would be packed, didn’t expect to have to park west of the hall of fame and have a 5 minute walk though. Walked into true Hoosier Hysteria and standing room only and found a standing spot 2 rows deep to watch the final minute of New Castle/Hamilton Heights. Hardly anyone left after the first game but we managed to find a couple seats in the middle of the Blackford section. Unfortunately for Luke, his team was just outmatched and he was essentially double teamed at the top of the zone by a bigger longer Delta team. I liked what I saw. As others have said good handle, very impressive range, and what I liked the most - incredible passing and vision. I’d add he has very good IQ and feel for the game. Would I offer him a scholarship if I was Archie? No, not yet. I’d like to see how he does over the summer not only against good competition, but with better teammates. Having teammates who could finish his assists and outside threats to not allow double teams, would allow him to create for himself and others easier. I like the potential and I think he’s got the “it” factor, but I’m in a holding pattern for 6-12 months. -
What Fran allegedly said probably isn’t any different than what most of us have felt about Big 10 officiating lol. According to The Toledo Blade Ohio State reporter Fran screamed at one “you’re a cheating ****** ******, you’re a ******* disgrace”

He also had two near turnovers with inexplicably bad passes, one with a minute to go in regulation to Davis when Davis wasn’t open. Luckily it was tapped away and not stolen and we recovered but it should have been stolen. Stats wise he played well, overall he was maybe “ok”. I’m still in the weed him out camp. -
