Seperate from them being top 100 and seemingly quality kids off the court, I love 2 things..... 1. The orchestration of these announcements- this is sending a message! 2. These kids are simply announcing via Twitter etc, no media circus, no hat picking, no video release. Tells me they are serious.

He said timing was bad for Billy. I took it as either due to NBA playoffs or only 2 years at OKC.

Just a thought on 0708 and saying Billy is a no go due to timing....why would his agent accept a personal meeting to simply say no? I'm not saying the meeting happened or didn't, but that could easily have been done with a phone call. Meetings are done to hash out fine details and such, not to say, nice to meet you, my clients not interested, what sounds good for lunch?

I think Alford is a smoke screen and would make perfect sense as such. Too much Donovan talk out there, let's get them focused elsewhere by saying it's a mediocre coach with ties to IU. That'll buy us a couple days.....just my 2 cents

I'm sorry, but from the current staff, the only guy I never wanna see on an IU sideline again after this year other than Tom Crean is Lyonel Anderson. Acts like a total tool IMO and as strength and conditioning coach has no business a) being on the bench where he is b) chest bumping players at mid court during timeouts c) being more inside the timeout huddle than players and d) picking injured players up and single handlely carrying them to locker room. He's an absolute embarrassment to watch and an extentsion of Crean's lack of control.

Prayers to your family, having gone thru this with my wife 6 yeara ago, it's not easy, but a positive attitude does wonders in the fight.
