Sent from my iPhone using BtownBannersWhat is my Twitter history? I'll wait.
I was referring to how rude everyone was to that other person who commented about the transfers within this program as well as the disparaging comments made toward me in which almost nobody had any rebuttal for what I actually said in my post because--- as some (very loud) IU fans seem to be, many of you are very toxic.

- Reading them! (did I mention that?)
- Then reading "no negative talk of any kind is allowed on this wbb forum."
- Read that too!
It's a bit confusing ;)
I suppose I was allowed to type what I did, but was immediately called names, spoken down to, ect so..

Maybe it’s true, what the staff is saying?
What they are saying could be relative to having very high expectations. Maybe it’s why those that buy in are ultra competitive and we are kicking tail with those girls on the team despite the transfers?
Maybe?
Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile appIts not a good look to trash talk players on their way out of the program. Its vindictive and classless. And as I said, word gets around. Player A is treated like crap, leaves, tells her aau coach about her experience, tells her d1 friends who play at other schools about their experience...and so on. just multiply this by each kid that leaves and gets bad mouthed out the door...
-
True or not, no negative talk of any kind is allowed on this wbb forum. A couple people from this forum (who have been on Twitter and Instagram harassing former players such as Danielle williams, telling her to take IUWBB out if her bio because she was "ungrateful") tried to claim that I personally message IU recruits to tell them not to attend iu (insane)
Bendu is an unusual situation because she thought she was on good terms with the program and then they released a statement without her consent (claiming that she wrote it) on why she was leaving. Then allegedly when she was trying to decide on a new school, they would contact IU to ask about her and the iu staff was saying that she wasn't a good teammate, didn't accept her role, ect.. what iu doesn't understand is that those things come back to the person eventually.
Hannah noveroske was in contact with a few schools, one of them in the big east. One of the assistants called iu to ask about hannah and they had all kinds of negative things to say about her work ethic, conditioning, ect --even though I've seen with my own eyes how hard shes worked in bloomington. Why would they do that?
And these 2 specific situations are not the first of their kind here at IU.
What the staff needs to realize is that when you do these things to people, word spreads.
*fun fact* teri moren has never had one single season without multiple transfers
Okay now you all can come on the attack

I actually think this thread is to discuss recruiting, not your conspiracy theories on why I pointed out something that former players are saying consistently about our program online.
So how did I blow my shot? I'm very curious what shot you're referring to?
I know that these things sometime get you fellas a little emotional, but I'm just providing info I find on the web. I know that alot of you would feel better if somehow I was some bitter parent of some made up player, but unfortunately for you I'm just a person who used to be involved in the athletic dept who still knows several people around the basketball programs. Still a fan of IU but not willfully ignorant

Berry just received an offer from IU on May 12, so this was a pretty quick recruitment. The other four schools in her top five were Murray State, Alabama A&M, Seton Hall, and Georgia Southern.
Every player on the website with three stars right now is given an overall of 90 and a rank of #100 btw it's a glitch that happens in espn hoopgurlz sometimes

This is an older tweet but I heard a rumor she will commit soon. She is a top player in the class.
Class of 21

No, I was saying that its incredibly unfortunate that so many people are seeing this.. esp since this year was kind of a bust in terms of recruiting the class of 20-21
We stole a kid away from the ovc last minute. I am excited by the potential of Patterson, Cardaño-Hillary, and paige price but will have to wait a season for the two latter.
We have a great starting 5 or 6 but after that it's kind of mediocre.

As long as we can keep picking up high profile transfers from p5 teams I suppose this will be a fine way to operate.
But this is really spreading far and wide on twitter...
my grandmother told me when someone has a good experience they may tell one or two people but when they have a bad experience they will tell everyone they know

3 minutes ago, Stuhoo said:Pretty well-stated response by you here IMO.
I very much appreciate the food for thought you’re bringing to the board.
However, strong stuff like this is bound to bring cross-examination.
I didnt ask anyone to cheer about it, but just based on the responses, it seems like along with our coaches, some of our fans dont understand that kids are not like the kids of yesterday and must be treated/coached differently. They ARE more sensitive ect and the coaching style has to evolve as time goes on.
But I will never agree with signing a kid who I know isnt good enough to play on our league and then running them off when they perform as expected..esp to bring in a kid from quite literally halfway around the world only to get rid of them to get the scholly back. This is COLLEGE basketball.

There isn't this much depression in the world and frankly I find it infuriating that people are marginalizing REAL depression which is a potentially deadly issue. Depression IS NOT when you are sad because things didn't go your way.
For example, one of the tweets talks about how Moren brought in a girl from overseas and then ran her off a year later. You know what, if she wasn't good enough then GOOD. That is exactly what Moren should do. It is her job to win, not coddle marginal players.
What do we need since 6 witnesses isnt enough, your honor? Forensic evidence? And I think we used to call running players off 'creaning' but we may have to change the name

I love that this is my agenda..
you all would rather gouge you eyes out than to admit that maybe theres an issue in this program.
I'm all about positivity but this is real and you guys will eventually be forced to admit that teri and rhett clearly have problems looking kids in the eye and being honest with them.
Do you think I told these players to say these things?
..someone explain to me how this is my fault lol
Georgia tech was a consistent top 25 even top 15 program when machelle Joseph was fired for this exact type of thing. So dont be surprised if it happens here is all i'm saying.
Or just keep saying those 17 kids that transferred in 6 years are ALL soft (moren should have recruited better then, her team) and that this is all MY personal agenda. Quit trying so hard to connect me to this (you can't because I'm on the outside) and maybe connect it to someone who has something to do with it?
Its scary that you see this as me trying to ruin this for you and not what it literally is lol hurt suit yourselves
I honestly thought this was a decent forum but theres still apparently a problem if someone says something unfortunate even if its true.
I visit other teams forums all the time and if someone posted something like this, the iu forums are the only place where you will be called a liar with an agenda...haha

Not good. Looking like we are coming up on a Georgia Tech situation in the near future.

Welp. Right now the number is at 5 and slowly growing. 5 former CTM players talking about their treatment in the program on twitter for all the world to see. cant be good for recruiting. And no ria gulley isnt even one of them...

Beeler is signed to play for vincennes u next season 20-21--but get this, her page also says XavierWBB commit. I guess Xavier wanted her but didn't have the scholarship/and though she needed to be on the court somewhere to develop and get back in shape so she will play for Xavier in 21-22

They just landed leigha brown and they have maddie nolan, Emily kiser, amy dilk that I can think of off the top of my head all contributing players in their lineup too. They just seem to recruit indiana well

Anyone hear anything about Ari Wiggins? She was leaning towards ND but they just picked up one of the top PG in her class so I heard we may be heavy favorite now.
Think its us, Michigan, and ND
why does Michigan get all these indiana natives lol.

Seygan Robins from Louisville announced her name in the portal, less than a half hour later our coaches are all following her. Safe to say we have interest in the former KY miss basketball.
Our coaches are actively recruiting/shopping the portal

She didn’t write that statement IU wrote it and put it out as if she did. She said her family did play a part in her leaving IU. They weren’t able to watch her and see her as much. And on top of that she was very unhappy & homesick from the start and it just got worse. Plus the coaching staff played a big role and she didn’t have the best relationship with them and wasn’t happy about how they conduct certain things. Her goal is to play professionally and she wasn’t going to do that staying at IU. Her going to Arizona was the high favorite because she’s knew the head coach( played pro) and her assistant aka her husband( coaches pros in Italy) since she was in the 6th grade. And There’s another Assistant Jackie Nared which Bendu grew up playing with Jackie’s younger sister Jamie ( played for Tennessee). So she went somewhere that she’s surround by people she grew up knowing which she considers family. And they will know how to coach her and get the most out of her and potentially have a better shot at the WNBA. They turned Aari McDonald from a nobody to the 2nd best player in college basketball. Arizona is looking like a top 5 team. Especially because it looks like Bendu will play next season. They are already preseason ranked 7th and they picked up some good transfers.
I know all about the "statements" put out by this staff.. lol it's very clear that once they dont see immediate use in these kids they "move on" from them so I don't blame her for moving on as well. I hope she is successful
