  1. So, besides Leal and Galloway, only TWO other players in 50+ years? Sorry, that doesn't pass the smell test.
I would agree there seemed to be an agenda. Hartman and Race didn't have any indication coming back when they made their senior speech. As for Leal and Galloway, they literally said they were coming back during their speech. Just strange to do that.

  2. He said plan A DID work against the teams we beat.
No one is asking for IU to be a perimeter team first.  But we have to keep teams honest or they will collapse, and the teams we beat mostly just didn't have the size to defend it.  Other teams will, particularly in conference.  If IU were making 6 of 18 threes per game, we could probably live with that.
He said the plan didn't work against 3.

  3. Plan A is working against 131, 135, 159, 232 and 331.   Plan A didn’t work at all against 3.   Moving forward the odds of Plan A working against upper level teams isn’t great.   If IU as a program wants to get to a place to compete nationally with the upper level programs they will need to go to plan B at some point.   That’s just my opinion though.  Roster isn’t built for plan B but man plan A isn’t ideal for todays game
I'm not for sure why it didn't work on any of those teams. We did win all thoses games? People on here want us to jack up threes to just do it, but that isn't a strength right now. Of course, while we can do Plan A, we should be working on improving on Plan B in practice. Hopefully, it will be more successful when we do have to pivot in those games (aka UCONN). This team is improving each game, and I'm excited to see them play Maryland next.

  4. I don't understand why we would jump to plan B when plan A still works? Keep pounding it inside until we have to kick it out. Again, I want us to keep taking post shots from our two most efficient offensive players. When that doesn't work, we adjust to proper ball rotation or slashes to the basket. As an offense, we want the defense to break down and our best way of doing that is making the other team double the post. Also, I personally didn't see anyone hesitate taking an outside shot when available tonight.

  5. I really hope we add some shooters in the transfer portal who actually shoot the ball when they're open. Especially when those players don't give you anything else while on the floor.
We do have shooters. We are ranked 24th in the nation as a percentage. Now.....we don't shoot as much as other teams. There are just halves where they don't fall. If we get the same looks next half, things will change quickly. Also, we were smart to switch on everything after their hot start. Didn't allow Pickett to back down our gaurds.
