    Fan/Media reaction in Kentucky

    I liked this article: http://www.elkharttruth.com/sports/2015/04/06/Twine-Line-Thanks-Kentucky-for-revealing-yourself.html

Next Season will be a Success If....

If the team learns to effectively communicate with one another, can mentally withstand being down at any point in the game and be able to bounce back from it, and each member comes out with the will and drive to win. (And gets more support from their fan base instead of bashing... )

    Yogi and Stan Arrested....

I can clearly remember being down at IU for little 5 having Tom Coverdale's party get busted up by the cops.  Season's over, it's Little 5.  Anyone surprised?

    UK sucks

It hurts my heart that uk can start and play 5 freshmen and get to the elite 8 and we start 3 and can't make a postseason happen. How do they do that? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Good bye Noah V.

One thing we'll have to get used to if we're going to get top recruits! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    I love Indiana Basketball

One season cannot define this team, this school, this history of basketball.  Not even 5 seasons cannot define them.  Yes, this season, as Yogi has stated was a roller coaster.  Heck, it seems even Crean's tenure so far has been a bit of a roller coaster.  As much as it has been that for us fans, I can't imagine what it has been like for the players.  Sometimes I think we fans forget that THEY want to win even more than WE went them to win even if it doesn't seem like it by their play.  As a fellow fan, this is very frustrating to me at times.  They are the ones on the floor grinding it out and having all of Hoosier Nation watching, critically, their EVERY move.  If I were a coach, I would absolutely NOT let my players be on social media during season.  Some fans, although diehard for life, are harsh and that can break a spirit.   Yogi- He's used to being on a #1 seeded, winning team. Big Ten champs with a lot of leadership to rely on. Wow, did that change this year.  But he stepped it up and lead as best as he could with a new starting lineup; as a sophomore.    Will- He's been through the trenches and back up with the "Resurrection" and then back down again.  Used to being the 6th Man, it took him a while to take on that leadership roll and he went out with a bang.     I admit, I was also not that excited about the season in general.  I didn't watch as many games as in the past (partly because I swore I was bad luck for a bit there and had no intention of watching the Wisky game, and look what happened!)  But out of all the lows this season let us look at the highs. THEY BEAT WISCONSIN! AS A #3!  FINALLY! They rolled past 4 ranked teams.  And when they were on, THEY. WERE. ON.  That's got to give some of you hope to next season.   Again, 1, 2 or 5 seasons cannot and do not define this program.  THIS IS INDIANA.  Teams still jump at the chance to play at Assembly Hall, to play on the court of Calbert Cheaney, to sit on the bench where Bobby Knight threw chairs!  I'm not saying we, as fans, cannot be frustrated or critical of our beloved team ( I still yell at the TV and wish I had a bad-call brick) but this is our team and they WILL have highs and lows and it will always be a learning process for our players. I can't wait to take our son, who is due in a few weeks, to his first IU game.  I still remember mine.

Will gets Player of the Week

I think the impending idea that his basketball career is almost over has lit a fire underneath him! I hope he continues and that fire carries them to a post season!
  8. The tradition.  The high regard other teams have for it. Assembly Hall. Candy Stripes.  The passion the fans have (even if some times they can turn on their team).  It reminds me of growing up, going to IU parties with my mom.  Once a Hoosier, Always a Hoosier!

OT: How did you find us?

Can't remember how, maybe twitter?  But I did because I wanted to be on the inside track of IUBB info!

Let's see who all is brave enough to post

Win or lose, it's always good to be a Hoosier! I grew up with a mother that knew as much about college basketball as any woman you will know (Brian Evans even told her so himself!) Many of my friends can attest to hearing her yell at the TV from my room. I swore I was going to marry Damon Bailey and that Bob Knight was holy grail. She took us to any where and every where he or a team member would be in northern Indiana. I missed some years of following the team due to being in school out in Washington state but let me tell you it's great to be back!
