These refs are historically awful. Utterly disgraceful.

I'd say that the shot fakes have been highly ineffective because it gives the Spartan shot-blockers a chance to recover. A few of the blocks should have had a foul called. Most were just blocked by a better player.

I think they are better than at the beginning of the year, as they are certainly better defensively. The problem is that there are a lot of things they don't do well offensively. But defensively they are both better than earlier this year, and better than any of the last few years. And they don't turn the ball over anywhere near as much as previous seasons.
