None of that means anything to how good these players are. Simmons is a one of a kind player. Everyone wants that #1 pick. But to be able to Brandon Ingram would be amazing for them as well. That's a building block. A SF they don't have. The Celtics are on an upswing in the big picture. Indiana isn't moving.

They have the Brooklyn Nets pick. It is unprotected. Right now the Nets are the 4th worst team in the league.

Yes it is still downgrading. The Boston Celtics are one of the top jobs you can have if you're successful. Indiana can't even touch it. Really no college job can except maybe Kentucky, Kansas or North Carolina. It is the same with the Lakers if they're good. If Boston was struggling then I'd understand Stevens entertaining a chance to leave... but that just isn't the case here. Boston is looking to deal right now and looking to get the #1 pick in the draft while making a push for the 2 seed in the NBA playoffs.

I don't think Stevens would be interested. He has zero reason to come back. Right now the Celtics are 3rd in the East at 32-23. They're looking to make a big move by Thursday. They have the Brooklyn Nets pick in the draft which is looking like a Top 5 pick. So they could get Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram or Buddy Hield. The Celtics are on the rise thanks to Danny Ainge and Brad Stevens. There really is no reason to return to CBB for him. If he was failing as an NBA coach maybe but he isn't. You don't downgrade when you're successful like he is. He's in Boston to win and not to see what the experience is like. He's in the NBA for life.

I think you greatly underestimate what an NBA coach has to do.

Analysis: I choose not to pile on Troy Williams

Do you think LSU would trade us Ben Simmons? Duke with Brandon Ingram? Oklahoma with Buddy Hield? -

Well he definitely isn't Andrew Wiggins. -
Quality Young Coaches vs Tom Crean.

I'd really like for Indiana to turn over every stone possible. College coaches, nba coaches and of course.. meB) -

Personally I don't want him. And no one knows what WSU will be like after this year. They lose Van Vleet and Baker. Their window could be over. I'd rather go for a younger coach that can hit v the ground running on the recruiting trail. -

I've thought the same thing! Think Kevin Wilson could do anything with him out there? I don't think he'd be Cody Latimer but his size would be great at WR. 6-7 215. That would be awesome. -

Xavier has been one of the most consistent Mid Major schools in the country. And with very good coaches. Like Mack but also Sean Miller and Thad Matta. Since 2000 Xavier has only missed the tourney 3 times. They've been to 6 Sweet 16's and 2 Elite 8's. This year they have a good chance of going to the schools forest ever Final 4. -
I love All-Star weekend. The NBA is in good shape for the next several years.

That last part is the problem. We aren't the marquee program anymore. Michigan State, Ohio State and Michigan are all ahead of us brand wise.

The 13-14 year did it for me. Couldn't adjust to the team he built. If you want shooters all over the court... Why get Troy and Stan? That year I was done. And I was a Crean supporter going into that year. I was pumped. That was easily a tourney team with high potential. And it fell flat on its face.
-
He fits the 76ers game plan perfectly.
-
Not usually. Though I think Minnesota had a girl leave after her Sophomore like a year or two ago. My parents were at the game today. Said it was a lot of fun. Now they're just trying to get through the snow. Go Hoosiers!

At the time Crean and Marquette were in the C-USA right? They had Louisville, Cincy and Memphis in there at the time. The A-10 isn't a bad conference. Dayton, VCU, Rhode Island, Saint Joe's, GW, Davidson. It isn't a powerhouse but those are teams that are tough.
-
This is a massive problem. Shouldn't have even seen 20 minutes. I didn't get to watch the game... but there isn't a way to spin 0 points into looking good.

That was THE GREATEST DUNK CONTEST OF ALL TIME.

will be interesting to see if they pull the trigger on anything. They've rumored with Dwight Howard, Al Horford and Love.

You can watch Hubie Brown. He'll teach you the game but he's an older guy. With Bill you'll be learning more about exotic places and if you're lucky he'll teach you some basketball. Bill is one of the greatest of all time. So he can basically do as he pleases. Free spirit guy. I like Hubie in small doses. Smart man.
-
I love Bill Walton. I personally don't want to hear about the game too much. I'm can see what I'm watching. Bill makes it even more fun to watch.
-
Robert Johnson right now has to score. We've struggled in games where he can't score.
-
not surprising with West Virginia. They don't have a single player NBA. I could see Kansas winning it all this year. All iffy on Oklahoma winning it all. They're a very good team and have Buddy Hield but the other two guards sort of play against him instead of with him.
-
if you go on Kenpom, like every single team since 2000 or something has had a Top 25 offense and defense at the end of the season. Except 1. UConn in 2014. I'm trying to think of the guard thing... last year Duke had Tyus Jones. UConn had Shabazz Napier... neither really play. Louisville had Siva and Smith who aren't NBA guards. I don't think that's a truth honestly. Bad stat lol.
