Not a huge Bears fan but growing up in Northern Indiana I have a certain affinity for them (who doesn't love the Super Bowl shuffle). My wife's family are huge fans. For the most part the Bears are mediocre. Never horrible, never great, just always stuck in the middle. Brother in law has had season tix for 20+ years. Will never give them up. I agree with you for the most part. Unfortunately Mr. Basketball isn't what it used to be nor is high school basketball but Dakich is still right. Prolific prep is a joke. So for what's it worth I have a buddy in Napa who's kids go to the catholic school mentioned in the article. Per him it's a good school and the players actually have to go to class, get good grades, etc. Still strange to me that he did this after school started but maybe he really didn't want to deal with the drama. I'm not sure i understand a move like this. Why move that far away for the year? It's not like he doesn't have offers coming in playing at southport.
