  1. I don't play ball (not very athletic), but if I could I would not pick IU, and all the really good players must fill the same way! That's why they choose the real elite programs like Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville... when was the last time a 5 star caliber player like an Anthony Davis chose IU! What you guys don't get there are 5 star players, and then there are 5 STAR PLAYERS! We don't get the one and dones! Kentuckys - 5 STAR PLAYER- Anthony Davis, IUs - James Blackmon Jr. (who couldn't even guard a chair) this is the hurdle IU will always have! And what you guys say on these boards won't change a thing! And I don't know if Austin or anyone in his family even wan't him to play at IU, but I don't think they waist there time checking what is said on useless boards like this one. I don't put a lot of stake in rankings - Victor I don't believe was a 5 star (I could be wrong), but Maurice Creek was, Victor came to IU on Creeks coatail!
  2. Maybe Miller can drop IPFW from the schedule next year and pick up a school like.... Indiana Tech! It probably won't be enough to make the tournament, but maybe add Taylor, Huntington, Trine and if you beat most of these schools you have a chance. No wait there's a thing called strength of schedule, darn it! There is always the Big Ten Tournament if they could just get by Rutgers!!! Now I don't care who you are, that's just funny right there! Wait that was a BAD joke, just like IU!!! HA, HA, HA!!!
  3. I'm with you guys the kid is probably a real loser! Top of his class academically, ranked as one of the top basketball players in the state -2018 ( one of the top combo guards in the country), broke Raphael Davis scoring record at S.S.H.S. And right behind a kid named STEVE ALFORD on the all time state tournament scoring leaders board (in front of Blackmon Sr.) with a measly 54pt. game against Muncie Central who has won more state championship then any program in the state of Indiana! Started getting recruited by D1 programs in middle school and by the way, was the national cross county champion when he was 12 (2 mile course time of 9 min. 51 sec.) I don't think the kid has much of a future with schools like Harvard, Stanford and Norte Dame recruiting him, I feel really bad for this kids future, what a LOSER!
  4. I've already mentioned on this board that I'm an old teacher of Austins and friend of the family. I have seen 3" binder after 3" binder and shoe box after shoe box full of HUNDREDS of letters! I guess I could ask Austin to take a picture of all of his letters dump on the foor of his GYM at his house and put it on twitter, but I don't think he would do it because he is a modest kid! I'm an IU fan that would like to see him play at IU, I'm not saying that Austin or his family want him to play at IU he has a lot of options! As a fan I think he could help the program. We are not going to land the 5 star recruits that Duke, Kentucky, Louisville etc... get, and he has been a top 10 ranked player in the 2018 class in state of Indiana for the past 3 years! In my opinion (and I'm not saying it has to be yours) that when looking at his videos, looking at his many accomplishments and watching him play in person myself, he and Keion are the best players in the Fort! Sophomore seasons-Austin 25pts. a game, Keion 20pts. a game and South Side finished in front of North Side with Keion and Butz. Now they are playing together with transfer Lucas Kroft from Blackhawk! they are playing together
  5. Those letters were this past year, less than a year! The boy has hundreds of letters from schools like Xavier, Michigan, Harvard, Butler, Stanford, Air Force, Virginia, Michigan State, Illinois..... Hundreds! And his family said that he started going on visits in middle school. He has atleist one D1 offer if not more? And I'm sure there will be more by the time he graduates this next year at the top of his class! He could wall paper the inside of his house with all of his letters (and he lives in a big house). I don't think he needs any FAVORS or help from anyone!

  7. Where is your name on the all time IHSAA scoring record board? IU is not recruiting anyone on that record board that I can see! 54 pts. in 25 minutes of playing time! Why do you think that the Fort Wayne news media is predicting North Side to make another run at state since he came back! And ask anyone from Fort Wayne who wins the state championship if Austin Played this past season at North Side (probably with a undefeated record). I'm sure you get D1 letters all the time from top programs across the country! Can you say JEALOOOOOOOOOUSY!!!
  8. On his twitter, I saw a protein shake and several letters and it looks like it was from just one day!
  9. I see on his twitter some post showing high and mid major programs, it's all about the fit (academically, playing time etc...) as a Fort Wayne person I look forward to watching not only Austin and Keion, but also 6'6" Lucas Kroft play the transfer from Blackhawk!
  10. Hoosiercoop I'm not looking for a golden egg, I don't even play ball, but I'm sure Austin will do just fine at North Side. From my understanding he hears from D1 schools daily!
  11. HELLO1987!1987!1987! I'm an IU fan and I want to see them get back on top, but I don't think that Miller is the coach to get it done! In 5 to 6 years you guys will be calling for his head just like you did for Creans! You people are so negative on this board, all I've done is point out a few positive things about a kid and share some information and you guys want to tear people apart! Unbelievable! I hope IU wins a National Championship soon, so you people can chill out!
  12. Mac is a step above IU, for that mater so is IPFW! HA,HA,HA!!!
  13. His team has won 2 games out of 12 on the Under Armor circuit. The coaching is awful, and all the players just gun and chuck shots. He is shooting 39% for 3s from 30 to 35 feet away, because that's the only 3s he gets on this team. Most players would like to shoot 39% with toes on the line from 19'9". And if you have a player like Austin shooting 89% from the ft line a good coach should have him drive and get to the line! Kevin Easley quit the team because of the out of control playing conditions of this team. By the way Kevin's stats were very poor at best when he quit and a lot worse than Austins, and IU wants him. Austin is only playing half a game at most because the coach is trying to be far with playing time, resaults- only 2 wins. His AAU team is a joke! If you want a good gauge of his play watch him play with North Side. Remember at South Side his team won 16 games with him and this year without him 4 or 5. He averaged 25 pts. 4.5 assist a game playing against SAC and Indy teams. I'm looking forward to watching him this year (as many others are) now that he is back in Fort Wayne. I'm sure he will get his college payed for one way or another!
  14. Check out the article on bluehqmedia.com about Austin Boucher, it supports what I've been saying on this forum about the talented player!
  15. Austin Boucher has a new video out! Austin Boucher l Comb Guard l 2018, Summit City Sports put it out!
  16. He has a new video out when he scored 54 points against Muncie Central in the semifinals of the Huntington sectional during his sophomore year.
  17. I will take that as a compliment!
  18. Austin is a great kid and what ever college he chooses( he is a top student and will have not only basketball offers, but also academic scholarships as well) is getting a class act! Austin has put up with jealousy and racism his whole life. He was always the youngest player on the court, diamond, track or field and he always dominated the competition. When he was in the 8th grade he won the conference in cross county and the kid that finished 2nd was 19 months older than him (by the way he also was a national champ in cross county). The kid is a great athlete and even better person, ask any kid or adult that knows him and the will tell you the same. We all know the saying the apple dose not fall far from the tree and his parents are good people also. Ask any teacher- great kid/student good parents. Austin was encouraged by college coaches to reclass and when he did he chose not to compete in sports at Bellmont because he didn't want to brake records or take away spots of other kids at the school. Other kids have been held back or reclassed and they continued to compete at the schools they were attending. The Blackmons have all been held back or reclassed and have been to many different schools, but no one talks negative about them! I detect a lot of jealousy in these blogs from adults that don't even know Austin or the Bouhers. They get second hand here say and exaggerations and try to ruin a young mans future that they don't even know, thats pretty sad!
  19. Norwell would of been the worst choice!
  20. I am an old teacher of Austin. The reason he moved from Norwell to Bellmont was because he was constantly bullied due to his abilities on the court. I feel bad for all he has had to put up with.
  21. Clearly HoosierTrav doesn't know as much as he claims to know. The kid plays AAU for Spiece Indy Heat.
