He'll never play a minute in the NBA.

What in the Hell are the coaches telling Galloway? He drives into the most ridiculous places. NOTHING IS THERE!!! Lander now can't shoot OR PASS. Hoosiers will not win another game.

IU vs Michigan St Game Thread - 12:00PM ET on ESPN
Baseline replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I'm honestly shocked regarding the small contributions from those two. Galloway will go 3-4 games without taking a shot and then, all of a sudden, he will jack up a contested 3. It makes no sense. Leal was an amazing HS shooter. I thought he would put up 5-6 pts a game, at least. -

Exactly right. Not ONE of our other guys would start on at least 10 other BT teams. -

OK, that's better. He's much better 10' out instead of catching with back to basket -

TJD gets the ball down low. Race STANDS IN THE LANE for five seconds. Awful. He just clogs things up. -

That's what happens when you have ZERO post moves. He's becoming an offensive liability. -

Looks to me as if he's trying to draw a foul instead of converting for a bucket. -

Love the energy and emotion so far! Got to convert more around the basket. Why does Thompson pass it out when he has a one-footer? -

Big Ten teams will fail miserably in the Big Dance. NCAA games won't be called like a hockey game. -

Most college basketball is. The NBA has less hand checking and physical play in the post -

Exactly. When did it become fashionable to dribble with your back to the basket? You CANNOT SEE what's going on on the back side. -

So far TJD has missed a 3 incher, gotten blocked and failed to secure a GOOD pass. Also, really enjoy watching Hunter backing down his man so he can take a fade away. -
Indiana vs. Penn State - Saturday 11/12 @ Noon ET on ABC/ESPN2
Baseline replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
So proud of the team. Best defense in 30 years. DB's actually see the ball and make plays. Unbelievably frustrated by the play calling and decision making of coaches. 1. How does a punt return team player TOUCH THE BALL AFTER IT HIT THE GROUND? Is he stupid or did coaches not teach this CLEARLY? 2. Up 24-21 and Johns/Wilson call 3 horrible, conservative plays. Don't have Redding OR Natee in the game. WTH??? 3. 4th and goal on 1 yd line. Not a terrible play but Lagow is the slowest, most unathletic QB in the conf. He can't make a play with his legs. 4. Horrible, lack of discipline penalties. UGH. Twice set IU up with awful field position to start crucial drives. Your job as a coach is to make sure YOU don't do anything to cause your team to lose. Just sticking a freshman RB in the game on a whim does not fit that criteria. You have 3-4 great RB's and you do that? Should have beaten Wake but stubborn Wilson leaves Lagow in the game. Should have beaten Nebraska. Should have won today. We'll get slaughtered next week, beat Purdue and go to a bowl game. Fred Glass should not be pleased by this. Wilson has done an awesome job recruiting, Deserves tons of credit. Game management (blowing 2 second half time outs for example) is not good and is not improving. -

No substitute for intelligence on the court. Why dribble and bull your shoulder into the defender? Take the easy jumper. SMH
